The Whitesburg Police Department has recently received several complaints of ATV’s traveling on the walking tracks, Tanglewood trail, etc. The tracks and trails were designed for people to be able to exercise and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Per ordinance, if you are caught in a motorized ATV, (dirt bike, four wheeler, SxS, Motor vehicle or anything as defined by Motorized) you will be in violation of our city ordinance, which does carry a fine of $500.00 and places your motorized equipment in jeopardy of being seized by the City of Whitesburg. Let us all work together in keeping our trails as safe as possible. To report an incident please call (606) 633-2327.

Thank you.
