Our church's Fall Festival in October presents opportunities for young entrepreneurs, vendors, and musicians to connect with the community. If you or someone you know is interested in reserving a booth or performing live music, please contact us for further information. This event is open to the public, so mark your calendar.

Attention Kansas families!

Time is running out to apply for Summer EBT! Less than two weeks to apply for $120 in grocery assistance through the Summer EBT program. This is available to all Kansas schoolchildren who are income-eligible to receive free and reduced-price meals during the school year. Applications must be submitted by September 11 through the Department for Children and Families (DCF) website at www.dcfapp.kees.ks.gov.

While many families who qualify for Summer EBT may have already received their benefits, many more can only receive them if they fill out an application. Check your eligibility today!

Hey Wichita, the location for the Kamala rally has changed from Naftzgar Park -- as printed in our paper -- the new location is the Wave on 2nd Street. just west of Old Town. (650 E. 2nd Street.)

The Sunflower and Wichita Journalism Collaborative will host a panel that will provide college students and first-time renters with the information they need to be informed.

The panel includes an attorney from Kansas Legal Services and a representative from Consumer Credit Counseling.

Learn about renting, red flags, the importance of your credit score and how to budget for housing and other necessities.

Last Saturday night Parners sponsored A Trivia night at First Presbyterian church. It was a huge success. We appreciate all the groups that came. Numerous prizes were given. Keep watching for the date of the next one.
