Happy Monday 🌼

Today’s Daily Bread Devotional is from Sis Molly Franco and it’s a powerful reminder that you are called for MORE! 🙌🏻💛

Called for MORE

I have been praying and trying to think of the way to deliver something that the Lord has put on my heart. I wouldn’t call it a devotional or something to make you feel “good”, but rather something to help you to grow as a saint, a leader, or a member of the body. I hope it challenges you like it did me.

Colossians 3:13, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

We often hear as Christians that we are called for more and a lot of that time we think of the good that comes with being called for more, but we forget that with more joy, more blessings, comes more pain, more trials, more difficulties, more offense, more betrayal. These are opportunities The Lord gives us to grow so we can have more of the peace and more of the joy and contentment found in living for the Lord.

He laid on my heart to ask you to look within yourself, when the betrayal comes or the hurt or the offense, what is your response? Are people able to tell who you live for only when things are good or when things go south? Does your response embody the fruits of the spirit? When the hurt comes, do you text about it or vent about it or even make a post about it? When you get offended, do you rage with anger or take a step back? Do you talk to your bestie before you talk to the Lord about it? We all vent to one another and it’s great to have a safe place to process emotions, but it’s a thin line between venting and ranting/gossip. What matters the most is how we respond when the world is watching and when you’re home alone. It’s easy to embody living for Christ when things are going good but when you get hurt or angry or offended, what does that look like for you? How do you process it? Do you write about it, do you pray about it, or you post about it? It’s the same when we see something that triggers us online and we spew hatred towards others. We have to ask ourselves if our behavior during the tough moments is also going to lead people to the foot of the cross.

I say this as someone who struggles with this very much, which is why the Lord dealt with me this entire week about it. We are called for more and with that comes more responsibility, more obedience, more sacrifice. It means we don’t always get to rant and rave about how we feel or make sure our side of the story is known. It means sometimes we have to leave things unsaid. It means laying our pride down, our attitudes down, and forgiving whoever trespassed against us. It’s not easy, and He never said it would be, He just said that He’d help us because the bigger picture is worth more than everybody knowing how you feel. We are called to be gentle and lowly and forgiving. To be rooted in love and kindness and often times that means self sacrificing. It’s not a call to let people walk all over you, it’s a call to recognize somebody knowing the love of Jesus is more important than somebody knowing my opinion. Out of the mouth, the heart speaks. What you say reflects your heart. Are we human? Yes, which means we will fall short daily, but if we recognize it, work on it, and control our tongue, imagine how much more our friends, our coworkers, our family would be able to see His love working through us.

1 Peter 4:8, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”

Imagine being at work, coworkers gossiping/venting, and you don’t partake. Imagine someone spewing hatred and you spew kindness back. Imagine through the anger (righteous or not), through the hurt, the heartbreak, the offense, kindness comes because saints recognize, His peace is abundant even it hurts. His peace will cover you even if your side is never told, your thoughts are never heard, and your opinion left unjustified.

Called to more. What a high calling, what a high price.

“For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man brings forth evil things.” Matthew 12:34-40

Matthew 18:21-22, “Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”

Proverbs 19:11, “A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.”

Happy Friday! 🦋

Today we have our next "Power Filled Women" devotional from Sis Kara Cooper. Today's lesson on Ruth, it's an amazing reminder of what choosing God and His ways can do for your future! 🙌🏻🩵

Ruth
As a first generation apostolic I had to break a TON of generational curses. I had to overcome, find my strength, en worth, and freedom in Christ. I had a choice to make, turn to the world I knew or live a life for God.

If you find yourself in this situation; Be. A. Ruth.
Naomi had a husband and two sons, her sons were married to Ruth and Orpah (not Oprah) Naomi's husband dies, followed by her two sons. She is left with nothing and must return to her homeland. She instructs her daughters-in-law to do the same thing.
Orpah leaves and returns to her old ways and old beliefs, and old gods (little g).

But Ruth says...
"And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:" Ruth 1:16

While Ruth chose to be faithful to Naomi she also chose to be faithful to God. To leave things of her past and follow the things of an everlasting future. In a hopeless situation, God honors Ruth. She meets Boaz, her kinsman redeemer, and provides a life pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

God honors Ruth who is now in direct linage to King Jesus.

Ruth and Boaz conceive Obed, father to Jesse, father of King David. lalk. About. Redeemed. Loyalty, taith and obedience are treasured in the eyes of God.

If we take a look at what happened to Orpah, you see her path of returning to her old life of sin caused her linage to reflect that. She is the mother of Goliath. And we all know how that worked out. Not only did God bless Ruth, but He blessed her bloodline.

Hear me woman of God, the choices you make here and now do not only affect you... They are GENERATIONAL CHOICES.

You can choose to make generational blessings or generational curses. I pray that when faced with the choice, you choose Jesus. When sin is a road you can walk down, think not only of yourself but your children, their children, and so on and so forth. God has called you to greater things! In Jesus name find boldness, find strength, and find yourself in Christ Jesus!

Happy Friday! ☀️

Today we have our next "Power Filled Women" devotional from Sis Kara Cooper. Today's lesson on Rahab and it's a beautiful lesson on what the blood can do!

Rahab
I think l've said this a millions times, but, Rahab is one of my most favorite people in the Bible.

Not many of you know my past, maybe a little bit of it but not all of it. Why? It's simple. My future has been changed by the blood. My story is not my own and I have relinquished control to the Author.

In Joshua 2 we are introduced to Rahab the harlot. She is a resident of Jericho and when the spies of Joshua enter the city she protects them. In return for her faith and protection of the soldiers, they say Rahab and her family will be protected. (Joshua 2: 2-14)

Rahab had only heard of the wonders of God. She had only heard rumors of what He was doing, her faith told her their "God was the God of heaven above and the earth beneath"

That was enough for Rahab to change her life and live for God.

We are all faced with the same choice. Die for your sins, or live for God.

You may have a dirty past, full of shame and embarrassment.

May I remind you that NOTHING is too dirty for the blood? If Jesus can forget it we NEED to too. As children of God the enemy likes to remind you of your past, a past that is under the blood no longer exists. Get thee behind me Satan!

In James 2 it reads:
"Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." James 2:25-26 KJV

Her works were the outward showing of her faith, and that opened the door for God to rewire her story. In doing so, Rahab broke generational curses, allowed God to rewrite her story and as a Christian mother gave birth to Boaz, husband to Ruth, who birthed Obed, who fathered Jesse, who is the father of King David who is in direct linage to KING JESUS!

If this doesn't make you praise I'm not sure what will!!
Have faith in Jesus, do works for Him and watch your lives be transformed!

You are not your past. You are not your sins. You are a powerful woman of God!!

Happy Monday Ladies 🌸

Today we have our next Daily Bread Devotional! Sis Lexi Mieske, has a special reminder for us, TRUST God’s plan! 🙌🏻💗

Proverbs 16:1 NLT
We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer.

There are times I am sure I know the answer God is going to give. Already sure of the outcome, before I've ever stepped foot in to the process.

The Lord has been dealing with me about trusting HIS plan and answer completely, and friend, this can be hard.

When I'm already sure of the outcome, I rob myself of the journey and all that comes with it.

The journey includes growth, maturity, and so much more, but it starts with willingness and effort, from me. It starts with me being willing to walk the path God has for me. It takes a leap of faith to get on the path I don't have control over. It takes a leap of faith to trust the unknown and the outcome God has in store.

The Bible tells us His ways are above our ways, but can I trust this promise and the process? Can I go on the journey and walk the path I cannot see? Am I willing to trust that He is faithful and just and able to complete the work He started?

His ways are above our ways. His thoughts above our thoughts. He sees all, knows all, and is in all. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He will hold us up with His right hand.

Knowing these promises, I can walk the path and journey He sets before me, resting in the promises of His faithfulness, and friend, you can do the same. 🤍

Psalm Sunday 🧡
Psalms‬ ‭73‬:‭26‬ ‭- 28
My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the rock and strength of my heart and my portion forever. For behold, those who are far from You will perish; You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful and have abandoned You. But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord God my refuge and placed my trust in Him, That I may tell of all Your works.

Happy Friday!☀️

Today we have our next "Power Filled Women" devotional from Sis Kara Cooper. Today's lesson on the Woman at the Well and it's a powerful reminder that He will use you - no matter what your past! 💖🙌🏻

The Woman at the Well
I think this is a story we are all familiar with. A very relatable story. I believe Jesus placed this woman in the Bible to remind us, that even in great sin, there is great redemption. (John 4:1-42)

Jesus is at the well in Samaria and the woman is gathering water in the heat of the day, alone and cast out. When Jesus asked for water she was taken aback. A Jewish man asking a Samaritan woman for water?? Very taboo and very not culturally accepted.
During their talk, Jesus says He offers living water, and this water will cause you never thirst again. Jesus tells her, He knows her past and current situation. As the conversation continues she realizes that Christ will come and reveal all.

Insert the revelation.

The woman gets the revelation and becomes a witness to all in Samaria. Past is gone, a life worth living for Jesus. (John 4:39)

This woman was an outcast. She was a sinner, and considere dirty. Married 5 times, living a life of sin; and Jesus chose to use her. He chose a sinner to spread His gospel and she shared it far and wide.

Jesus isn't looking for a woman who has it all together He's looking for a woman who wants to drink water of LIVING WATER. A woman willing to say my past is is washed clean, my future is everlasting, and my hope is in Jesus!

Woman of God....
Your hope is in Jesus.
Your future is eternal.
There is no shame in your past and it's been erased by the blood! I pray you go forward sharing the good news of Jesus Christ! Even to those who know your past, be a witness to them showing how Jesus can change lives.

"Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
John 4:13-14 KJV

Happy Monday Ladies! ☀️
Today we have our next Daily Bread Devotional and it’s from Sis Katie Young and she’s here with an important reminder that YOU are Strong! 🙌🏻💛

YOU are Strong!

"Mommy, you are so strong!" My son tells me as he dotes on me with his best compliment that warms my heart to its depths. There was nothing special I did to earn this compliment, he just wanted to make sure I knew how great he thinks I am. It's a love language we've nurtured as he's grown- words of affirmation. He's pretty good at sharing how much he loves those around him, and a what a blessing that is to this momma's heart as I get to watch him share these words with his daddy, his aunties, his grandparents, and anyone else he adores.

I woke up with this phrase on my heart. You are strong! You know who else was strong? The Hebrew women working day in and day out in Egypt. The Bible shared it this way...

Exodus 1:19 (KJV) And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women [are] not as the Egyptian women; for they [are] lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.

They were "lively." This word can be replaced with "vigorous" or "strong."

The Hebrew women didn't have the luxury of sitting down while the work was done by someone else. They worked and they never stopped. They woke up and began to go to work, and they worked up until it was time to go to bed. They weren't dainty like the women of Egypt. They were strong! Because of this, when it came time for giving birth, they didn't struggle through the process like the Egyptian women did! They had the baby out before the midwives could even arrive to the house!

So what does that have to do with us? Sister, we may be in this world, but we aren't like this world! We aren't afforded the luxury to sit idly by spiritually. We wake up in a battle for the souls entrusted to us! We work until it's time to rest- then we get up and do it all over again! But we're being prepared as we work in the spirit!

This Hebrew word for lively is so special that it's only used one time in the entire Bible, and it's used about Gods chosen women! Sister, you are lively! You are strong! You've been working- but you didn't know you were being prepared for those you've been called to bring into the kingdom!

In due season, when the timing is right, you won't struggle to see salvation in the lives of those you've been praying for- they will be born before the enemy has time too get to them! All because of you. You: momma, grandma, sister, friend, coworker, neighbor... you've been working, praying, fighting, and interceding. You've been preparing for this day. Don't lose heart. God is working. He's creating something in you and it will come to pass through you! You have hope- and because you have hope, they have hope! Keep working! Keep praying! Keep fighting for your promises! You are strong! You WILL see what you've been praying for!

Galatians 6:9 (KJV) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Happy Monday Ladies 🌼
Today we have the next Daily Bread Devotional and today it comes from Sis Michelle, she's here to remind us to seek His Kingdom.

Seek His Kingdom First 👏

How many of you recognize that we are living in a "my kingdom" society.
It's all about... ME.
What I want.
What I need.
What makes me feel good.
What brings me happiness.
What makes my life easier.
What things I can I do and get away with them.
What makes me look like a good person.
I want to go there, so I’m going.
I want my life to just be easy.
It's an all about ME society and ladies I'm here to remind you that's totally contradictory to God's Word!

In Matthew 6 Jesus is in the middle of the greatest sermon ever preached, in verses 31 -33 Jesus reminds them that if they seek HIS Kingdom and HIS Righteousness first... everything they need will be given to them! I love how the AMP Version reads let's check it out...

Matthew 6:31-33 AMP
The Me Statements....
31 Therefore do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’

But Jesus reminds them....
32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

What a powerful Word. We aren't supposed to live in a "me" society - we're supposed to live in a "HE" society! The Word says, "First and most importantly" seek...
His will.
His way.
His heart.
His attitude.
Be His hands.
Be His feet.
Show His love.

When I seek HIS KINGDOM & HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and not my kingdom and attitude, I will find that He will supply my needs!
When I seek His Will - I will have peace.
When I seek His Way - I will have direction.
When I seek His Attitude - I will be like Him.
When I'm His Hands - I can comfort the hurting.
When I'm His Feet - I can carry His truth wherever I go.
When I show His Love - I can win a soul for Him.

Ladies... When you seek His Kingdom it changes you for the better and it makes you the person you were always meant to be. It reminds you that you serve a loving God who will supply all of your needs, so we don't have to live it worry or in fear.

Forget your "me" Kingdom and seek His Kingdom 🙌
