I am still in need of volunteers to adore Jesus during the Midwest Catholic Family Conference. Jesus continues to wrap the conference in his protection, and we want to adore and thank him for the many blessings everyone receives during this faith filled weekend. Time spent in the chapel during the weekend is a great opportunity to spend reflecting on the love of Jesus for you and the talks you have heard.

If you would be willing to adore Jesus during the conference, the following times are available:

Jake and Ramie Samour and family have been attending the conference for many years and are parishioners at the Church of the Magdalen in Wichita, KS. Read on to see how the conference has helped to shape Ramie and her beautiful family:

“It is fun to think how long I’ve been attending the Midwest Catholic Family Conference and how important it has been at different stages in my life. As a young adult I remember volunteering in the children’s program and how cool it was to serve as a speaker’s angel. The conference was very important to my parents, who would plan the family schedule around it every year. Since returning to Wichita with my own family, we have attended each year; it is like a big extended family reunion. Now my older kids are giving back by assisting with the teen track. We are thankful for the opportunity to come together with other Catholic families to grow and celebrate our faith together.”

Kendra Tierney is a recently widowed mother of ten living in the wilds of unincorporated Los Angeles county. 2024 Speaker Focus

Fr. Pacwa

Father Pacwa received his B.A. in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Detroit, summa cm laude. He was ordained a Catholic priest in 1976 with the Society of Jesus, as a Master of Divinity and S.T.B. from the Jesuit School of Theology of Loyola University, magna cm laude. At Vanderbilt University, he received his Master of Arts as well as his Ph.D. in Old Testament. He is best known for his appearances on EWTN for almost forty years. Fr. Pacwa is a best-selling Catholic author and has written numerous books on a variety of topics about the Scripture and our Catholic Faith to continue to teach us and generations to come. In the name of Jesus Christ, I reject, renounce and rebuke all demons of (here, name whatever demons may be tempting or assailing you, such as "demons of anger, jealousy, etc."), In the name of Jesus Christ, let these demons be gone from me and do not return!

Tender, Mother Mary, throw your veil and mantle over me. Under your veil, teach me to pray as you learned while carrying Christ within you as a new Ark of the Covenant. Shield me with your mantle from all demonic attack, temptation, retaliation and deceit. Keep me safe now and always in your Holy and Immaculate Heart. Amen.
