AGK Ministry Network
Make Kansas the easiest place to experience the presence and forgiveness of Jesus!
Each year the AGK sends multiple representatives to participate in the meeting of the General Presbytery of the Assemblies of God - the official policy making body of the Assemblies when General Council is not in session. That meeting typically consists of Network Executives (Superintendents, Asst. Superintendents, Secretaries, Treasurers, etc.). However, there is a national rotation that gives AGK the privilege to elect additional representatives to serve one-year within this body.
At Council you chose these two incredible AGK ministers to represent Kansas as General Presbyters (GP) this year!
✨Lacey Hartman is our Ordained Minister under 40 representative. She Co-Pastors with her husband Troy, at Rock Hills Church in Manhattan - celebrating 10 years since planting in November 2014. Her father, our former Superintendent, Dr. Terry L. Yancey, is also serving as a GP, marking the FIRST time in AG history a father and daughter have served in this capacity at the same time!
✨Dr. Sondra Cave is our Ordained Female Minister representative. She Co-Pastors Faith Chapel in Overland Park with her husband Bob, and has for over 30 years. They beautifully lead THREE Parent Affiliated Churches in the northeast region. Sondra was the FIRST female minister elected as a Regional Presbyter in the AGK!
We celebrate both of these ministers, and are proud they represent the AGK! 🎉
A special shoutout to AGK World Missionary ✨Jenni Conrady for being chosen by AG World Missions to represent AGWM-Latin American Caribbean as a GP!
🎉🎉🎉 Happy Birthday Supt. Nathan Sheridan! Today, we celebrate YOU and the person God created you to be. Your encouragement, joy, kindness, and humble leadership are a gift to all who know you. May God's presence and favor be evident in every one of your days. Your AGK family loves you!

Pastor Patrick (Pat) A. Green, entered Heaven Friday morning, July 12. He embodied everything good about the AGKansas Ministry Network Family. He and his wife Beth invested 23 years of faithful, fruitful, determined, joyful, compassionated, Spirit-led, often bi-vocational leadership in Wamego and the surrounding area. They made a lasting impact on the church and led the people of Wamego Family Worship Center to make an indelible imprint on Pottawatomie County - and the world!
None of us were ready to hear that he had passed away. However, Pat had lived ready for that eventuality! His readiness didn't rest on his position as an Ordained pastor but on his heart condition as a devoted, loving disciple of Jesus. Let's follow His example and live prepared each day to meet our Lord!
Thank you for your continued prayers for his family, especially his wife of 47 years Beth, and their two children.
Supt. Nathan Sheridan
AGK Family please join us in fervent prayer for Pastor Pat (Beth) Green - leading in Wamego at Family Worship Center. While recently undergoing back surgery doctors made a surprising discovery in his body, and have now assessed a diagnosis of B Cell Lymphoma. According to his precious wife, the most urgent prayer today outside of total healing, is for an increased count of his critically low blood platelets and a quick reversal of newly developed pneumonia. WE are never prepared for "surprises" like this, but we KNOW our God is always ready to receive our requests and walk us through every season. Let's believe together for complete healing, hope, and peace for our co-laborers and dear friends.
God is moving in lives at KYM Youth Camps! 🙌Two weeks in the books, one☝️ more to go! Continue to pray with us that hearts are changed, prayers are answered, memories are made, and calls are accepted. Thank you Kansas Youth Ministries for valuing our students - you are making a difference! 🎉🎉🎉
More 🎉🎉🎉 in the AGK as TODAY is the birthday of the remarkable Amber Sheridan! To know her is to know a shining reflection of Jesus. She radiates joy, kindness, compassion, and grace. Amber is the treasured wife of our new Superintendent Nathan, supermom to Nathaniel, Jonathan, and Natalie, and beloved Pastors wife to Garden City First Assembly. Amber we see you and we love you, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 🥳
Welcome to the party Pastor Nathan! 🎉🎉🎉
Today AGK ushers in a new era, with every detail designed by God. We joyfully welcome Superintendent Nathan Sheridan and his family! 🎉 Through their leadership, we will continue to make Kansas an easy place for people to experience the presence & forgiveness of Jesus.
Our gratitude goes out to Terry & Karen Yancey, our pastors of 25 years, for their humble and bold leadership. Their love for God's people is evident in their intentionality and compassion. Through the Holy Spirit, they have left an indelible mark on AGK. We look forward to what the future holds for them and for us. We love you both!
There is still a small window of time to reserve a space for your AGKids to attend Kids Camp this summer! ✨There is MORE for each of them in His presence.
Kids Camp — AGK Ministry Network AGK Kids Camp '24
The historic Network Council of 2024 involved a momentous shift in AGKansas leadership! After 30 years in Network ministry - 5.5 years as the DYD, and the past 25 years as Superintendent — I passed the baton of responsibilities and overall vision to Superintendent-Elect, dear friend - Nathan Sheridan.
Pastor Nathan has served our fellowship as Assistant Superintendent for two years. He and his wife, Amber, and their three PK’s currently reside in Garden City, KS where he served as lead pastor for 13 years.
Karen and I applaud the Network for earnestly praying these past 10 months for God’s will to be made known during the business session this past Tuesday. The Council also elected Pastor Ryan Wheeler to serve as Assistant Superintendent. He and his wife, Grace, and their six PK’s serve as lead pastors in Chanute, KS for the past six years.
Finally, we welcome the following ministers elected to the AGK Board:
Pastor Steve Bell, Pastor Tony Lantz, Pastor Ryan Webster, Pastor Brad Wicks, Pastor Jerod Yancey.
Karen and I trust the hearts and hands of the godly leaders the Spirit has set in place.
Supt. Terry & Karen Yancey
This is who WE are: WE humble ourselves in His presence and, WE seek His guidance with surrendered hearts and open hands. Today, the voting body of women and men within the AGK Ministry Network followed the leading of the Spirit in electing the 10th Superintendent to this fellowship at the 106th Network Council. Please welcome Superintendent-Elect Pastors Nathan & Amber Sheridan along with their precious family! WE know that God will extend His anointing and faithfulness through this new season as WE continue to make Kansas an easy place to experience the presence and forgiveness of Jesus!

Allow us to reintroduce Senior Adults Ministry as 50+ Adult Ministries! 50+ Adult Ministries brings clarity to this ministry area by clearly defining that it serves those who are 50 years old and up in the AGK. AGK Ministry Network is passionate about discipling every generation into the people God created them to be. Every follower of Jesus has a place in the work of the Kingdom of God.
We are also excited to announce that Steve Bowman is becoming our 50+ Adult Ministries Coordinator. Steve has faithfully served and will continue to serve as the AGK Ministry Network’s Light for the Lost Coordinator. He is passionate about serving the 50+ crowd in the AGK and desires to help them play an active role in what God is doing in the world today. We can’t wait to see what God does in this new season of this ministry!

A huge thanks to Grace Wheeler and team for putting together an amazing WIMB for women in ministry leadership! So excited!
And a huge shout-out to Hannah and Josh Peoples for coordinating a fantastic experience for our AGK PK’s! Those PK’s have our hearts! Be sure to thank these leaders for their all-in commitment to this Network!!
GOD HAS A PLAN FOR THE AGK FUTURE - and it is GOOD!
In 64 days, AGK credential holders and church delegates will enter a business meeting to elect a new Superintendent. As we prayed for that moment again this morning, Karen and I asked the Holy Spirit to help those present enter the room with somber joy, eager expectation, and unified hearts. The Lord WILL reveal His selection for this apostolic post. For this to unfold, we need to prayerfully lean in with total dependence on Him to lead this process.
Karen and I have unshakable confidence that HE will lead this Body!
We also believe every other component of this Council - from the opening “welcome” to the moment of official dismissal - will pulsate with the Presence of our resurrected Savior.
Come to Network Council anticipating an encounter with God as we worship, take communion, pray, hear the preaching of His powerful Word, experience a meaningful Ordination Service, interact with each other…
We are EAGER to see you there. - Terry & Karen Yancey
