In 2022, the Rudd Foundation donated the funds to build the Leslie Rudd Learning Center to support the program’s efforts to provide tutoring. That’s where our WSU Rudd Scholars come in, they are “coaches” to these students and mentors to provide both personal and academic support.

We are to be a part of this organization and continue Mr. Rudd’s legacy of giving back!

Another "What's Up Scholar" Wednesday for you today to share what our scholars are up to this summer. Read below to learn more about Katie, Kylie, and Emma.

Katie: I’m at Camp Barnabas working with individuals with special needs this summer! I get to run all the activities that the campers participate in.

Kylie: This summer I've been working for CHS at the McPherson Refinery helping the Turnaround Department prepare for the upcoming turnaround taking place next Spring.

Emma: This week, I’m serving Totus Tuus at my 3rd parish at Sacred Heart in Halstead. Totus Tuus is a catechism program ran through the Catholic Diocese of Wichita.

A short but sweet recap of this past weekend that we like to call our "Rudd Scholar Weekend".

We hosted our 2nd annual freshman Rudd Scholar Retreat and welcomed our 2024 cohort, where we learned about each other, built friendships, and started their journey .

The following day, we hosted our Rudd Scholar Banquet, where we celebrated our 2024 cohort and their friends and family. We want to congratulate our Rudd Scholar alumna Taylor Brock on receiving her white coat this past weekend. Taylor is currently starting her 3rd year of dental school at UMKC School of Dentistry. We are beyond of Taylor for all of her accomplishments and continuing to show her and as she pursues her dreams of becoming a dentist!

Our Scholars have been busy this summer traveling and spending time with friends and family. Stay tuned for more adventures!

The Rudd Scholarship Program continues to grow and evolve and we are excited to announce the opportunity to join our team. We are currently seeking 2 dedicated program managers to join our team to continue the support of our Rudd Scholars. These individuals will work along side a dedicated team to support over 100+ Rudd Scholars across our 4 partner universities, while knowing they are making a difference in the lives of others. Please help us in sharing this position to continue the growth and success of our Rudd Scholarship Program.

As we continue to remember our founder Mr. Rudd, we wanted to share a timeline of his life's accomplishments. Mr. Rudd was a man with and and was never afraid to take risks. Because of this, his success can be seen today through our Rudd Scholarship program. Since 2018 we have made an approximate investment of $10 Million dollars through our program. We are to continue his legacy through our program and our scholars!

Happy Mother's Day! Today, we honor not just mothers, but all caregivers who selflessly give their love, time, and support. 💐🩷

Congratulations to our Rudd Scholars on their graduation. You are now and we hope that you have enjoyed your collegiate experience. We are lucky to be a part of each of our scholars journey. Remember that being a goes and look forward to seeing you continue to make an impact in your communities as you begin this new chapter.
