At MCB Kansas, we know that sometimes all it takes to change a life is a ball sport, healthy competition, and a little encouragement!
Since our founding in 1975, we have been determined to make a positive impact in the greater Wichita community by supporting youth tennis & sports programs.
A few of us were able to see some wonderful tributes to Maureen Connolly Brinker at the SMU Styslinger/ALTEC Tennis Complex this week at the Dallas Open (ATP 250).
Also note the former Little Mo players who were in the tournament draw.
Check out the invitation to the MCB 50th Anniversary party! Make your reservation and mark your calendar.

Happy 70th Anniversary! Maureen "Little Mo" Connolly won the GRAND SLAM of tennis on September 7, 1953. She defeated Doris Hart 6-2, 6-4 making her the first woman to ever win the Grand Slam (winning all four majors in one calendar year - Australian, French, Wimbledon, and US Open). She is still the only American woman to have accomplished this magnificent feat - and the youngest at age 18.
