The City of Wichita- Government and Wichita Parks Foundation scored a big win with this grant from The DICK's Sporting Goods Foundation and LISC! We're looking forward to putting this grant towards programmable lighting at the baseball field at McAdams Park.

Every community deserves safe, quality sports facilities where youth and their families can play and socialize. Thanks to the Game On-Community Places to Play Initiative, a partnership of LISC and The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation, under-resourced neighborhoods in 14 cities and towns now have funding to improve their local youth sports facilities.

The Game On Initiative selected 15 community organizations to receive nearly $1.3M in grants to implement a range of projects, including a new youth equestrian center in Detroit, a resurfaced soccer field in San Diego and a renovated baseball facility in Pittsburgh.
