Last night we got to celebrate our volunteers! Thank you to everyone who made the 52nd Riverfest a possibility.

PEC - winners of the corporate team challenge. Local businesses compete to see how many employees run the Fidelity Bank River Run. This year with 105 runners is Professional Engineering Consultants!

Did you know Wichita Festivals Inc. doesn't just host Riverfest? We also have Autumn & Art. A completely free event where over 100 artists of all mediums set up booths near Bradley Fair at Wilson Estates Parkway on September 13-15.

The people have voted... The Star Lumber Sundown Parade Lt. Jack Glavin People's Choice Award winner is Star Lumber & Supply! Following in the footsteps of Fidelity Bank who won Best Use of Theme, Raices De Mi Tierra Ballet Folklorico who won Best in Show, and Underwater Wonderland who had the Most Creative. Congrats Star Lumber on winning the people's choice!

The bands are taking the stage at the Walser Auto Campus Kennedy Plaza Stage. DJ Carbon at 5:45 p.m., Rudy Love & The Encore at 7:15 p.m., and Kool & The Gang at 9 p.m.

Be sure to look towards the river at 10:45 p.m. for the Wichita Riverfest Finale Firework Show by Capitol Federal.

Viewing will be along the east side of the Arkansas River from Lewis/Waterman to 1st Street Bridge.

Cardboard Regatta. 90 minutes to build a boat from cardboard, pool noodles, and duct tape. Prizes for those who can stay afloat or sink in style! 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. for builders. For viewers, the launch is today at 3 p.m.

You can still sign up to compete on-site before 1:30 p.m., there is no team size limit so you can get creative. Although one of your team members has to be prepared to test your creation...

Popular Riverfest tradition takes the festival to the skies As we head into the last day of Riverfest, families are packing in to make memories, some of them from hundreds of feet in the air.

To say our final day of the 2024 Wichita Riverfest is packed, may be an understatement.

From fishing, fireworks, bikes, boating, cars, to so much amazing music. Today, is the finale! It's time to celebrate and have a good time!
