Stop Suicide ICT
Providing free su***de prevention training in the greater Wichita area.
Supporters and Community Partners -
StopSu***deICT and Mental Health America of South Central Kansas (MHA) are excited to announce that they will be integrating StopSu***deICT’s services into MHA’s established array of programs. The Boards of both not-for-profits have formally approved a merger with Stop Su***de ICT (SSI), and the leadership of both MHA and SSI are excited to bring their respective resources to strengthen the cause of mental health throughout the region.
The two organizations have had built-in connections for years through SSI’s co-founder Bailey Blair, LMSW, who serves as a Director with MHA and as Vice President and Lead Trainer with SSI. The two 501(c)3’shave worked together on public events, and both have sought to raise awareness, as well as advocate for and serve those throughout the community who live with mental illness. When SSI President Nicole Fenoglio and their Board of Directors recently made the difficult decision to cease operations, MHA reached out to offer an opportunity for their work to continue. Said Fenoglio, “Stop Su***de ICT has been a passion of mine for years, and I’m thrilled to see the work continue under MHA’s umbrella. MHA’s President and CEO Mary Jones was similarly eager to add the resources of SSI to the over 30 mental health programs that MHA already offers throughout the region. “Stop Su***de ICT’s strengths lie in the areas of education and training for su***de prevention,” says Jones. “MHA’s roots are in education, and we provide mental health training as well. But we couldn’t pass up the chance to consolidate those important resources and reach an even broader audience with a stronger message.” MHA signed on to the national ”Zero Su***de”initiative over two years ago, so the addition of SSI will undoubtedly strengthen MHA’s ability to actively participate in that program as well.
The details of the merger are still being worked out, but all parties involved are excited to see SSI continue in this new iteration. If you or someone you know needs mental health care, please reach out to MHA’s outpatient counseling center at 316.652.2590, or utilize the national mental health crisis hotline at 988.
Thank you all for almost 6 years of support and partnership!
All of us at ***deICT want to wish everyone a happy new year for 2024. We hope this year the stigma around mental health is broken!
From everyone at StopSu***deICT, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🎄🎅🏼
We are entering the holiday season. Sadly, many of us have experienced severe conflict, anxiety, and a range of other emotions around the holiday season; therefore, this time of year may be emotionally difficult and draining for some friends and family. We ask everyone to remain mindful of that during these times. And that sometimes, the best gift, is giving grace.

Sometimes, the best you can do is just getting out of bed in the morning. And that is okay! Small steps lead to big changes. Get out of bed today and tomorrow make your bed. Small steps every day.
