Kicking off the holiday break with Professor Ken last night in no gi! SPAR students were having a wonderful time learning from Professor Stiver. Thanks for doing such a phenomenal job teaching one of the last classes on the schedule for this year!! We are so thankful for all you do at SPAR!!

Wishing Professor John Canastaro great success today as he competes in the World No Gi IBJJF Championship today!! Professor John is a legend in the BJJ community in Buffalo! He has an incredibly successful competition record of wins spanning over a decade of training. Professor John not only has great wisdom and skill on the mat, but he also is our go-to guy for great wisdom and advice in life. We are so fortunate to have John training with us since the very beginning when we had less than 10 BJJ students!! A lot of the success in our program can be attributed to John's great leadership and his ability to unite our phenomenal team. Thank you for all you do for us Professor John! Today is your day!! This "All I Do is Win" song is something we posted for him lol but being the modest person he is all he would say is "All I Do is Train" and keep grinding every day. Giving all his thanks always to God, his family, and the support from his students. That's what makes his winning so great. It's not the medals or the trophies. He competes because he truly loves what he does!! We are so thankful to have Professor Eduardo as our professor, mentor, and brother! We love you, Professor!!
