Moving on from 2023 to 2024
Wishing you all a very happy, blessed and prosperous new year 2024. As we always talk about letting go, let’s let go of 2023 with all the pluses and minuses that it brought. I want to learn from the experiences and welcome the new ones one moment at a time! I regretfully apologize for the mistakes that I made and cherish the help that I could provide for everyone who walked out off my office with reduced pain.
The new year also brings in new services at HealingTouch. We will be adding MLD ( manual lymphatic drainage) and Graston therapy to the menu to all that has been available.

Today’s no-show has gotten me on brink (4 in 4 days). New policy is in place, 50% advance payment for the first appointment!

At least now, reading this, I should do something!

Recently, I started including 2 modalities in regular massage sessions.
1. Head massage. For the people who are willing to get oil in the hair and ready to have the hair set disturbed at the time. I use a special Ayurvedic oil with calming herb ingredients. Mostly people ask to do this again in the next session because it is a very calming and relaxing experience.
2. Abdominal massage. Not very commonly offered in regular massage sessions by therapists in general. It involves gently massaging abdomen including several acupressure points. The benefits potentially are tremendous. Among the reactions that I have gotten so far are — effective, very relaxing, excellent, phenomenal and so on. The effects include physical as well as emotional letting go!

I thought I will share these modalities if anyone wants to try out.

Happy New Year 2022
Last 2 years have been kind of roller coaster. We had very good days and not so good ones. Many of us stayed very healthy, while some of us could not. Some had additions to their families while some of us unfortunately lost our loved ones. Some of us have success stories while some of us also had setbacks. Weather also had its own agenda!
Well, as they say, life is like that.
We here, at HealingTouch, are also getting ready to welcome the new year, 2022. With the hope that all is going to be well. Good health, happiness, prosperity, success …. And all that!
The services that we provide here are geared towards safety, relaxation and good health. Keeping health and safety in mind, we have our office closed for the last week of December and first week of January. We will reopen on Monday the 10th January.
We will, as always, will try and provide best services we can in the upcoming year as well. We will add more modalities as well.

Most common side effect of acupressure session that I have heard so far is complete relaxation. People say I just want to be in this mode longer!

After resisting for a while, we have to increase our hourly rates — it is happening from January 1, 2022

We had quite a few examples at HealingTouch recently revealing what acupressure can do. People walk out relieved and I feel so happy and grateful that my hands can deliver!

Beginning of last March, I put all eggs in single basket and started in my own space as a continued acupressure and massage therapy. Within 6 days, We all had to close the doors because of the fear of unknown. Man, it has been quite a year! Last few months, the space is back open and starting to get stabilized with the flow of supportive friends. With the spring here and my new year coming up, I am looking forward to keep following my dream job of providing personalized care, with some added skills in the armor. Wishing for your continued blessings and support going forward!
