🤔 Myth: PCOS is rare.

💣 Fact: Polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS) affects one in 10 women. You are not alone.

PCOS is a complex hormone condition that translates literally to ‘many cysts'. This condition causes the egg to not produce or release properly, causing infertility in women. Women who have PCOS can experience:

irregular menstrual cycles or amenorrhoea

excessive facial or body hair growth (or both)

acne

scalp hair loss

reduced fertility

mood changes – including anxiety and depression

obesity

sleep apnoea

However, this does not mean you will have all of these symptoms. There are many faces of PCOS and there are many options to help treat this condition, but it is up to us to continue to spread awareness and empower women to educate themselves to help with early diagnosis, and to ensure they are making decisions that are best for them and their lifestyle. We are with you. You are not alone, Mama.

If your goal is to achieve optimal alignment & positioning of your baby, it’s best to work on this at this stage of pregnancy rather than between weeks 30 & 40. It’s much harder to make changes at that point because relaxin levels are SO HIGH when your baby is soon to be born.
