The Wi******er MOW Board of Directors is looking for either one person to be a grant writer/ community liaison person or two people ( one to fill each role) do you have students in college or are you an empty nester and want to be involved low key! (A few grants to apply for and a few community events to attend)Please reach out if you are interested in either!

( our organization is privately funded / no govt subsides, and we service any age resident), our food is supplied by Wi******er Hospital, we are grateful for them, and for their partnership along with the En Ka Society these last 40+ years . ~The WHS Rotary Interact Club and the Rotary Club of Wi******er are joining forces again this year with Quincy C.O.P.E. (Communities Offer Practical Encouragement) to help those who are without a home or clothing this winter in Boston!
~Mary along with our groups will collect Womenβs and Menβs Gloves, warm blankets and sleeping bags.(new or used)
~Donations can be dropped off at various locations around town- please wrap in plastic if inclement weather! (1/15-2/2)

As summer soon comes to a close, you may be thinking of how you will fill your days while your children are in school!!
WMOW NEEDS YOU!!!!
WMOW is looking for volunteer drivers to deliver nutritional meals to our residents. You can drive as much or as little as your schedule allows. Deliveries are M-F 9:45am - 10:45am from wi******er hospital - there are no deliveries on holidays or weekends, you must be 18 yo or older!
If driving is not your thing, we are also looking for Board Members, those residents who are willing to be part of a cause to keep WMOW sustainable- We meet once a quarter and meetings are usually held during weekday mornings. It is light lifting but with a great reward knowing that you have a part in helping our residents and community thrive. You could help fundraise or just add your voice to help WMOW continue to be an organization that is proud to help feed the residents of Wi******er!!
Please message us if you would like to volunteer or become a board member or if you know anyone who would benefit from our nutritional meals delivered to their door!
WMOW is privately funded and has no state/ govt subsidies nor income/age requirements ! This organization has been thriving since 1979! I hope you will think about it this year!!
