The haunted St. Augustine Lighthouse is one of my favorite locations. I felt the spirit energy of one of the little girls that drowned pass through my legs as I walked down the stairs. As the ghost made it’s way down the stairs, each of the K2 meters held by the investigators started going off one by one. It was amazing!

BASIC GHOST HUNTING EQUIPMENT FOR THE PARANORMAL INVESTIGATOR

1. K2 Meter
A K2 meter is an electromagnetic field meter. They are used to detect and measure any potential electromagnetic anomalies that may occur during a paranormal investigation.

2. EMF Meter
Similar to the K2 Meter, EMF meters measure electromagnetic levels and is often used in homes for safety reasons but is also useful for paranormal investigators.

3. Digital Voice Recorder
Digital voice recorders record ghostly voices and other communications (called electronic voice phenomena-EVP).

4. Full Spectrum Camera
Full-spectrum cameras can detect visible, near-infrared, and near-ultraviolet light not visible by the human eye.

5. Thermal Camera
Thermal cameras give a visual representation of hot and cold spots.

6. Thermometer
An infrared probe thermometer will check the air temperature of the room and find pockets of cold air, suggesting paranormal activity is present.

7. Motion Detector
Motion detectors alert those looking for the paranormal that they are not alone.

8. Laser Grid Scope
A Laser grid of green dots projected across a room gives ghost hunters a field on which to see any breaks in the pattern, suggesting that something is afoot.

EVIDENCE CAPTURED
Kersey Valley Spookywoods, Manor House

While walking the grounds of Spooky Woods, Cristina detected the energy of a ghost dog walking beside her. This was witnessed by Tonya Denny, Founder of Eclectic Paranormal Research Alliance. After the walk, Cristina entered the Manor house while the rest of the group began recording. While reviewing the recording for EVPs, Tonya noticed the EVP of a dog barking! It appears the dog Cristina detected in the woods followed her inside the Manor House.

Investigation at the Kersey Valley Spookywoods Manor house

I explain the basics of how ghosts and non-corporeal entities are detected, or perceived by people, using gadgets or their senses, with the word, “electricity”. Follow my thought sequence here: You can jump start an automobile with electricity. This can also be done for people’s hearts, and sometimes brain, even their life force. There is more than static in the air when hardware store devices beep far from a light socket. There’s more than blips in broadband when someone you’re thinking about surprises you with a phone call from the other side of the world. There’s more than chemicals flowing when an internal dialogue occurs whilst inspecting a trinket at a thrift store, and it’s not your story.

Nowadays, there are devices purposed to record all details of what happens everywhere; your internal organs, your location, your environment, outer space in real time. Machines search for and calculate data beyond actual time and space just to research it again. Then there are people who use extra-sensory perception to investigate a haunt, often discovering unpublished details. Some people have talents for invention and innovation, others study and practice the metaphysical. In my experience, both are Gifts of the Holy Spirit. The profane and unholy are also true. Discernment is essential.

During an investigation I will always ask, “How much evidence is proof for our client?” I will also warn you that the thing about information is responsibility. Some people Harry Potter 24-7. I Saint James 1:5. I also like my dowsing rods. God bless you.

I can sense within the first minute of meeting someone if I will click with them or not. I don’t need to talk to them and I don’t even need to see them to know. I just know. Are you the same way? How is this possible?

We are all made of energy. When we meet someone new in the physical world, we sense their individual vibrational energy and immediately determine if they have a “good vibe”. All humans are sensitive to some degree, it’s being aware of this gift, expanding it, and trusting yourself that makes a difference.

When it comes to the spirit world, I can’t directly communicate with the dead like a medium and I do not visually see or hear a spirit in its form in my mind, I feel them. When walking into a location, as a sensitive, it’s all about the energy, the “feel” of a room, the “vibe”. I have encountered many types of energy in different locations and after years of working on it, I’m able to find the spirit by finding the energy. I am able to distinguish what type of energy I am dealing with by simply feeling. My senses take me on a journey of emotions. I have felt anxiety, euphoria, calmness, fear, dread, happiness and love without seeing or hearing what is present. The sensations felt can be different for everyone.

If you want to be more sensitive to the energy around you, it takes time and it takes work. You can start by balancing your chakras regularly to unblock the energy flow within your body. Be patient, it will happen!

While investigating with Eclectic Paranormal Research Alliance at Kersey Valley Spookywoods, Cristina saw a dark, hunchback, shadow figure crossing one of the gravel roads. At first, she thought it was an animal shadow figure. However, after some research, Cristina was able to shine more light on what the dark shadow figure could be. It was not an animal, it was the spirit of a Native American wearing a traditional head piece or dressed in ritual gear. Both create the appearance of a hunchback animal. The event took place at approximately 3:00am on a dirt road that connects the Farm House to the Manor House inside the ”Spooky” grounds. Your thoughts?

Historical Bridge in Georgia claimed by many to be haunted. We visited this bridge during the daytime and the spook factor is apparent. Would love to revisit at dusk.

We were trailing behind the group past the Central United Methodist Church when Cristina sensed energy beside her. I snapped photos as quickly as my old three megapixel cam could take. Thankfully, an ”orb” was captured manifesting in this moment. Nowadays, a typical cellphone can show the details of any fauna, flora, and airborne fluff in hyperlapse sport setting. Note how she is effectively pointing to an otherwise unseen phenomena.
