I love new beginnings! I photographed this couple when they were pregnant with their first baby girl and now they have another one coming along.

My family has had a lot of new beginnings lately. I am not always great with change but I know these beginnings are what's best for our life.

This elopement was so dreamy!

I appreciate this moment in time. The location, the time of day, the music, the people surrounding these two loved ones. It was just dreamy!

Y’all Lenna is sick AGAIN! She had a little runny nose yesterday and last night she was coughing so much she got sick. My poor girl! I have no clue where she got it from because I literally do not take her anywhere besides the splash pad. I hate it when my girl feels bad 😩 .
But can we all appreciate this amazing dress? They call this “wings” and I am here for it!

Lots of babies are being born in 2021/2022 I’m not saying it’s covid related but it might be 🤷🏻‍♀️

Going back through some photos from the past year bee I’ve I haven’t been up to date on posting and these are some oldies but goodies!

These two were a dream to photograph! I think we had to reschedule 3 or more times to be able to do their session due to weather and other issues but when we finally got to do it everything turned out magical!

If you didn’t hear this is happening. We are nervous and excited at the same time.
Kenneth and I were taking last night and we honestly don’t know how we can love another human being as much as we love Lenna. We literally tell each other how much e love her every night. We miss her when she is sleeping!

I love all of the emotions during weddings. It makes me want to get married all over again!

I love it when my friends trust me enough to capture their love! This day was windy and cloudy but turned out absolutely amazing!

Summer lovin’ had me a blast 💥
It has been hot as h*ll lately! Who is with me when I say I am a sweat machine in the summer? I sweat so much that at almost every wedding that is outside in the summer people ask me if I need water and if I’m feeling ok…no joke! I’m mainly a face sweater so my hair is always packing wet and I just look ridiculous. I’ve actually stopped caring what I look like, there’s no point!

Lenna has decided she wants a sibling!!
I haven’t posted much from our Yellowstone trip yet and this is why! We have some big news. We are doing this thing again!

These two light up my life! Caroline is such an amazing mom and inspiration to me. Her and Cory are really meant to be! I cannot wait to capture their wedding in September!

Happy 4 years to these two!

When you first put on that ring it feels like a foreign object on your hand wouldn’t you agree?
I know it took me a long time to get used to it. It also took me a long time to get used to calling Kenneth my fiancé, then my husband and I STILL can’t wrap my head around the fact that I’m a mom haha. Who’s with me?

We are headed to YELLOWSTONE!! I’m just two weeks we will be headed to Yellowstone with this little one, my mom, my sister, my moms friend and her daughter and husband. It’s gonna be a wild trip with a 15 month old who has only been hiking a handful of times but it will be so much fun!
I told myself when I had kids they wouldn’t stop be from going places and while that is somewhat true it’s still such a transition to travel with little ones. If you happen to have any tips we are all ears!

Look at this happy, colorful, full of life couple! I loved photographing their day this past weekend. It was 90 degrees out, with absolutely no breeze but they still make it look good!

I’m so happy I have that little studio space to be able to photograph. New parents are my favorite to photograph; they are exhausted, emotional, in love and just holding it all together. It’s exciting and so scary at the same time. @ Winston-Salem, North Carolina

I know people say this all the time but I miss being pregnant.
I loved having my baby girl all to myself in a safe space knowing she was comfortable. I had an easy pregnancy and some women can’t say that so I know not all women feel this way but this is the reason I love photographing maternity sessions. All the little kicks you feel, the hiccups, the knowing that you are the one that keeps them alive. Then all the wondering about what your baby will be like, who they will grow up to be, coming up with a name. It’s all so exciting and exhausting at the same time. @ Winston-Salem, North Carolina
