Register for our Virtual Workshop on Compassionate Communities led by Rev. Anne Tambling on July 30.

Through this workshop, we will explore our own need for connection and find ways to create compassionate communities of mutual support, both in our own lives and the communities where we serve. Each participant will learn tools to use in their own life as we build a path out of isolation, fear, and scarcity.

This 90-minute workshop will offer the opportunity to learn about resources for clergy and lay leaders as well as to provide practical tools for navigating conversations about politics. It is often thought that conversations about politics should not happen in the context of church. However, being able to have discussions about what is important in the work of communities and government can lead to greater connection and the ability to ask the questions:
How does my faith impact my political thinking?
How does government impact my faith?
How can I be a part of a faith community where we might not all agree about politics?
Is it OK to talk about politics with other people of faith? Is it OK to talk about politics at church? Register for our Upcoming Virtual Workshop Here.
