Please join us in welcoming Dr. Valentin Marian to the Arthritis Foundation New Jersey’s Local Leadership Board.
“The Arthritis Foundation (AF) is crucial because it creates a sense of community and belonging for practitioners and patients. AF is a vital link between the New Jersey Rheumatology Association (NJRA) and patients, providing essential resources and support to help them navigate the complex healthcare system.
As a Leadership Board (LLB) member, I gain valuable insights into AF's operations and can effectively bridge the gap between the NJRA and AF. This role allows me to enhance collaboration, advocate for patient needs, and contribute to initiatives that benefit those with arthritis. The
NJRA and Arthritis Foundation are more effective in advocating with lawmakers, ensuring our patients' voices are heard and their needs addressed.”
Join us for an insightful webinar with a diverse panel of young adults who have successfully transitioned from pediatric to adult rheumatology care.
Hear their stories and gain valuable tips on navigating arthritis challenges and achieving independence. Plus, receive expert advice from a specialist in medical transitions. https://arthr.org/4cB0Vjq

Meet Reme.
“Hello everyone!
My name is Eboseremen Odion, but I am most known as Reme. I am 18 years old, and I was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was diagnosed after about two and half years of fatigue, muscle pain, and a lingering feeling of just being unwell. Once I was hospitalized, I finally was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis along with two other autoimmune diseases. I started treatment in October and thought it certainly was not easy, I have finally started to feel like me again!! I have started to go to the gym, take hikes with my friends, and hang out with family without being so tired. I am an incoming sophomore attending Rutgers University on the premed track, so my experience with my diagnosis really gave me inspiration and fuel to continue to help me just like me. I am very grateful to my doctors and family for helping me throughout this journey. If you are going through something similar, you are not alone. Feel free to reach out to me anytime!
