Today 2 of our older students were able to play on their worship team at their church for the first time. It is so exciting to hear of our students using their talents for God's glory.

We were small in number but powerful in sound. The residents at The Oaks of Acworth enjoyed hearing hymns on Sunday.

Several FMA students performed the National Anthem recently at the Rome Emperors (minor league team of the Atlanta Braves)
Students: keep practicing during the summer. Only practice on days that you eat. LOL

More "violin demonstrations" going on by our FMA teachers this spring at CC classes. Everyone got a chance to "play" various sizes of violins; although the viola-turned-into-a-cello wasn't too popular.
Don't forget: Fridays in April. Students be prepared to stay 5 minutes later and come 5 minutes early to "overlap" the classes.

This past Saturday 5 of our FMA students performed for 3 hours at the local Chick-Fil-A for the "Daddy-Daughter-Date-Night". We had sent out an email asking for volunteers earlier in the year and these 5 signed up. They had the experience of playing-for-pay, playing while people were talking, and learning new music in a short amount of time. What a privilege for these students to perform in public and share their talents with the community.
