From this presenter: In this presentation, artist and educator Abraham Evensen Tena will discuss his public Augmented Reality (AR) installation titled "Bodily Autonomy AR Lab," currently on display via the Hoverlay App (free, no login required) in the Worcester Commons. Abraham will describe the artwork, share insights into the production process, and explain how innovative tools such as AR and photogrammetry—the scanning of real objects for digital 3D modeling—become interactive art objects.

From this presenter: Xiang Li has been working on the Chinese Empress collection since 2012. This is the first time these paintings are shown as a group rather than individually. Thanks to JMAC's incredible setup, Li is finally able to find a space that could accommodate her work. You will be witnessing 70+ empresses in this single exhibition. Each painting is completed on silk panels using gemstone colors made by hand, and high-quality watercolors. Li spent about 3-6 months working full time on creating each one of them.
