Thursday, September 19th, is the last day to register for the York County Libraries' Youth Empowerment Summit, which will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Library. All York County high school students (public, private, charter, cyber, and homeschool) are welcome. There will be breakout sessions for teens and information tables on higher education, careers, community service, and personal wellness.

Teen cosplayers, bring your supplies to Martin Library on Saturday, Sept. 7th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for Open Studio time. Work on any part of your cosplay look—costume, wig, or props. We'll provide sewing supplies, wig styling products, and some materials for prop making. Bring anything specific to your look. No registration is required.
