Be exposed to new technology and explore future career paths. Browse through books for teens in Sci Fi/Fantasy, Fiction, Non-fiction and Graphic Novels. Check your Facebook status or research for a project or more in our computer lab. Attend a special event or get involved at Martin Library by volunteering.

Thursday, September 19th, is the last day to register for the York County Libraries' Youth Empowerment Summit, which will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Library. All York County high school students (public, private, charter, cyber, and homeschool) are welcome. There will be breakout sessions for teens and information tables on higher education, careers, community service, and personal wellness.

Teen cosplayers, bring your supplies to Martin Library on Saturday, Sept. 7th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for Open Studio time. Work on any part of your cosplay look—costume, wig, or props. We'll provide sewing supplies, wig styling products, and some materials for prop making. Bring anything specific to your look. No registration is required. Stop by the Teen Forum today and see all we have to offer. Browse through our many young adult novels about life, drama, sci fi, fantasy, romance, etc. Or hop on the computers and check your social media or research for a school work.
We also have many events throughout the week from Game Night and Saturday Afternoon RPG’s to Teen Advisory Board and Gay-Straight Alliance meetings. You could even become more involved in our programs by volunteering! Just message us, or come by and ask one of our staff for more details.
