The SEEK Program at City Tech is wishing you all a very Happy Labor Day! ๐บ๐ธ Just a gentle reminder, there are no classes today and campus is closed. โค๏ธ๐ค๐
We'll stay "Dancin' in September" as the Fall semester continues in full swing! ๐บ
Make sure you keep updated with the academic calendar for the month of September with this post. From campus closures, course deadlines, and more, you don't want to get your dates mixed up! ๐๏ธ๐คฏ
Throughout the summer, our SEEK at City Tech incoming freshmen had different events to welcome them to college and the SEEK Program. ๐๐
Another one of the events was CD/SEEK Welcome Day! Incoming students from all CUNY CD and SEEK Programs came together at Brooklyn College to hear from guest speakers, play fun games, represent their school, and even got some lunch! Coming together with all of the different CUNY programs helped students feel welcomed and part of the larger CD/SEEK community, showing them that they are not alone and have various colleagues, staff, and support systems in place for them. ๐ค๐ฎ

This summer, the incoming freshmen of the SEEK program had events to welcome them to college, CUNY, City Tech, and most importantly, the SEEK Program. ๐ซ๐
First up, we had our SEEK Summer Experience where students came to campus to take short classes taught by our counseling and academic staff on various topics regarding their upcoming college experiences, important tasks they should do before the semester begins, and how they can take advantage of the opportunities they have access to as SEEK students. ๐โ๏ธ
