We had the pleasure of visiting Elgin this past weekend, and despite the cold and wet weather, it was an unforgettable experience!

First, we explored the vibrant and bustling Elgin Railway Market. The market, housed in an old apple warehouse, is filled with local vendors, delicious food, and live music—a feast for the senses!

Afterward, we stayed at the charming Old Mac Daddy. Nestled in the serene valley, this unique trailer park offers cozy accommodations and stunning views, making it a perfect retreat.

On our way home, we stopped at Houw Hoek Farm Stall on Sunday. This quaint spot offered delightful homemade treats and fresh produce, perfect for a quick bite or stocking up on goodies. Lastly, we visited Peregrine Farm Stall, where we enjoyed their famous pies and fresh-baked goods, rounding off our trip on a high note.

Elgin, with its stunning landscapes and warm hospitality, is truly a gem in the Western Cape. We highly recommend these spots for your next getaway!
