Join us in making a difference this Mandela Day by providing stationery kits for children in Masi & Philippi, helping them on their educational journeys! As Nelson Mandela famously said, "𝐸𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑤𝑒𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑." 💜

Each stationery kit includes:

· Blunt nose scissors
· Pritt glue stick
· Wax crayons
· Playdough in a container

The cost of one kit is R150.

After a few years' hiatus, Craft Workshops for disabled adults have restarted at Chaeli Campaign HQ! Last week, participants created beautiful Mother's Day flower arrangements, and today they made bird homes, all under the guidance of Ria Wagner, an aspiring OT who facilitates these workshops. 🌸🏡

As part of the 7in7 Challenge, there are three ways you can support the cause! Last week, we introduced the community challenge, encouraging you to take on your own personal challenge. Now, we're excited to announce 'Comrades For Kids Like Chaeli.' This initiative invites registered Comrades 2024 runners to make a difference by raising funds for kids like Chaeli. By supporting the scholarship fund for disabled children at Chaeli Cottage Preschool, where children of all abilities learn and play together, you're contributing to a more inclusive future. It's not too late to hop aboard the 'Chaeli Train'! If you'd like to join us in creating more inclusive communities, please email [email protected] or DM us. Let's make a difference together!

Our parent workshops and ECD centre class sessions in Masiphumelele, Philippi and Ocean View continue to spread the message of inclusion with a focus on supporting each child's unique needs 💜

This year, the 7in7 has been expanded to include the 7in7 Community Challenge! We are inviting everyone to take on a personal challenge during the seven days from 3 June to 9 June. Participants sign up for R250 and support The Chaeli Campaign’s disability inclusion efforts. These efforts include providing custom-made equipment to enable more disabled athletes to participate and supporting the Chaeli Cottage Preschool scholarship fund for disabled preschoolers.

How to sign up:
