Pharologists can have a jolly good time exploring Cape Town's seven lighthouses.

The tallest lighthouse on the South African coastline can be found in Kommetjie. Commissioned in 1919, it is a graceful structure set above a rocky shore and comprises a 33-metre, circular tower. The lantern houses a revolving electric light with a character of four flashes every 30 seconds and a range of 33 nautical miles.
