Erica Primary School enjoyed a fun filled Family Braai Day on the 14th of September with games, stalls and water slides. Learners, educators, and parents enjoyed themselves immensely. Thank you to all sponsors and stakeholders who made this day an outstanding success.

Pharmacists from Chatsmead Garden Hospital pharmacists visited the Foundation Phase learners at Erica Primary School on the 11th September 2024. They enlightened our learners on the roles and responsibilities involved in their profession. The learners were also treated to healthy snacks as part of the experience. Thank you to the team for taking the time to educate our little ones ❤️

On Friday, September 6th our school also held the Grade 6 Market Day and the Grade 7 Entrepreneurs day. Huge thanks and appreciation goes out to the parents for their contribution in making sure these learners reached such an astounding success. Well done to all these learners 🙌

Every year our school hosts a Programme in honor of Heritage,Environment,Arbour Week and Drugs in the month of September. This year our HEAD Programme was held on September, 6th. Our learners outdid themselves in Poems, Speeches and Dance sharing vital information pertaining to each topic and also providing lots of entertainment. This programme was enjoyed by all. Thank you to all the learners who took the time to perfect their items as well as the educators who put this programme together. 👏

On Wednesday, 4th September Marlin stationery reps addressed our intermediate phase learners. They spoke to them about stranger danger and thereafter gave kids free stationery. Thank you to the representatives that took out the time to address our learners.

Nurse Pearl visited our Foundation phase learners on Wednesday, 28 August to talk to them about Oral Hygiene 🦷🪥

Learners received toothbrushes and toothpaste along with many tips on keeping their teeth healthy.

Our Grade R learners made a toothbrush holder, learnt a brushing song and steps on how to brush their teeth in honor of this informative lesson.

Foundation Phase Learners took part in the External Elocution contest on Thursday, 22 August. Well done to these learners 👏

The Foundation phase learners engaged in an educational address by the Chatsworth Fire Department on Wednesday, 14 August. The learners were left enthralled and captivated by the activities done by the Firemen. Our Grade R learners made Helmets, Posters, Badges, a song and learnt the Emergency number to welcome the Fire Department👩🏻‍🚒

Much appreciation goes out to the Chatsworth Fire Department for taking the time out to come and speak to our learners.

Inter- school Athletics took place at the Chatsworth Stadium on the 15 August. Well done to all our participants.

Elocution Contest for Foundation Phase Learners was held on the 7th of August. Well done to all participants👏

Erica Primary girls were selected to participate in a Code Solve Course on the 27 and 28 July. This 2 day course was held at the Chatsworth Youth Centre and was lectured by Paetyn Naidoo, a digital/ technology champion. The learners learnt about basic coding concepts, computer science and problem solving. Each learner received a certificate of participation at the end of the course.

Grade R Learners will be treating their moms to a yummy cup of coffee ☕ and lots of ❤️ on "Women's Day"

Foundation phase learners were dressed in the coziest pjz and treated to warm milo and yummy popcorn as they enjoyed a wonderful reading morning while snuggling in their blankets and cuddling with their fluffiest teddys. 📖 🍿 ☕️ 🧸

We wish our learners all the best as they participate in the Cadssa Festival this weekend. They will participating in volleyball, netball and chess.

Well done to our participants on achieving great results for the Saasta Olympiad 2023.
