Berea College visits Sidelile High grade 12 and 09

We would like to thank Berea Technical College for delivering a fantastic presentation to assist our matric class of 2024❤️ with applying for different courses available at the institution.
They also provided grade 09 learners with a wide choice of career opportunities to guide them as they are about to choose their desired streams for grade 10 next year 💃🥀🙏😃🕰️✅

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) held its 1st annual career day or exhibition at the Durban station on Friday, the 13th of September 2024. Ten (10) learners from Sidelile high school, which is situated at Magabheni township, grade 10 and 11, were among the 77 students from other schools,who were invited to attend the event.

The above mentioned career exhibition was a resounding success, in which the learners acquired information about different career opportunities available at PRASA and also bursary or scholarships offered by the agency.
The learners also received practical experience of the whole station, riding the smart train, and met different exhibitors who came from different institutions. The learners were accompanied by their teacher, Mr MS Xaba (pictured)
