This hotel gave me the extra thought and I'm very glad I decided to try it out.😊

Protea Umhlanga is a old soul. The reason why I say this is because it's been there for years and I feel it never gets the recognition it deserves because surrounded by all the 5 starts that steal the lime light.

So It a 3 star hotel but I think it deserves a 4 star rating because there is so much more that's offered.

Firstly location ✨! It's prime hot 🔥 location! It's not across the beach but it's walking distance 🏖️. It's almost behind The Oyster Box hotel and across left to the Capital Pearls of Umhlanga so it's a hot spot. Eating places I cannot elaborate on how many you are surrounded by 🥘🍲🦀🦪🍡.

The hotel is an old property however it has been refurbished.
The rooms are enormous! This is perfect perfect perfect for familys. The rooms have a mini kitchen with a dining table so if your looking at a takeaway for dinner or lunch this ideal. There is also a mini lounge and two huge beds. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower and this is why I say it's perfect for families. The rooms are clean and has a modern finish.

The restaurant is cozy and for breakfast you have to wait of its busy to comply with covid regulations.

I would personally rate this hotel as a 4⭐

⭐Capital Pearls Umhlanga ⭐

I had the privilege of staying at this amazing hotel and thought I would share my personal opinion.

The rooms are open plan studios and for me it had everything I needed. A fully equipped kitchen with dishes, pots, a hot plate to cook and a washing machine with a dryer.
The bathroom has only a shower but is also very spacious and clean.

The room had a lounge area and the TV has Netflix loaded so all u need to do is log into your own account.

This hotel is situated in prime location👌! It's a short walk to the beach 🏖️.
The lift of the hotel goes into the mall .
My most favorite was the restaurants 🍱 OMG! My favorite restaurant lord prawn 🦐 is around the corner and is a must try when in Umhlanga and if you love curry the prawn curry is by far the best I have eaten!
The ever so famous Oyster Box is a short walk but if you are planning to have a meal to tick✅ off your bucket list I do advise that you book in advance.

This hotel is perfect for the whole family and for me 5 ⭐ and it's a home away from home.
