KHEYI has prioritized its initiative aimed at assisting the very poor and vulnerable members of the society in sport development. Several global studies have shown that the effects of sport on improving education are statistically significant and positive. KHEYI sport program focuses on the increase access to sport for all disadvantaged South Africans. The program continues to create a strong sporting tradition that facilitates improved education results for youth. Young people are involved in drugs and they have lost faint in the possibilities that await them if they are successful in putting their lives together. Young people must be in caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes their best efforts and reinforces personal respect. The youth program is in direct response to the growing number of young people that are either falling through the cracks at school. The program empowers the young person to make positive changes in their lives.
