Celebrating our dear friend Mary.
(Dylan Atkinson)
It is with much sadness that we say farewell at the passing of a dear friend of Joseph Project and of so many friends who passed through Joseph Project since 2010.
With the loving release of Paul (her husband) she spent accumulatively well over a year at Joseph Project. She infused her passion for tutoring and championing children into all who had the blessing to spend time in her company.
Yet despite her knowledge and expertise in education she was so gentle and humble in offering input or advice.
She certainly kept her angels on their toes with her travel arrangements on mini bus taxis, long hikes through the most notorious areas of Johannesburg and trips to other quarters which definitely didnโt appear on any tourist brochure.
She and Paul ensured over a decadeโs worth of inner city school children had new school shoes to wear.
We will dearly miss her refreshing childlike mannerisms, keen observations, material and instructional assist and mostly loving and unconditional friendship.

We also run the kingdom kids program as the core where many children of the surrounding community have a chance to meet and receive the love of Jesus.

CCW 2023
Wherever you go, you see people working with the children in their communities โ investing in them, believing in them and giving them the skills for a
better future.
The Celebrating Children Workshop (CCW) equips people to work with vulnerable children, beginning with the question: โWhat did God intend for childhood?โ
This year we have this amazing group of students who are hungry to learn and apply what they have learnt.
We are looking forward to enter the 5th week with them.
