Our Father in heaven, Thank you for your love and provision.

We trust each day you give us our daily bread, and you know exactly what we need. Lord, you are a God of abundance, and you turn our offerings of generosity into more than enough. Lord, we pray for those struggling with money problems. God, remind them that you are Jehovah Jireh, our provider.

Help us to be creative in our generosity by giving our time, our talents and in other ways.

Help us stay free from worrying and focusing on what we don’t have, by praising you for all the blessings we do have. We should focus our attention fully on God, our perspective will become greater, and we can discover the wonder of God’s work in our lives.

When the storms of life rage around us, we are called to look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

Thank You Father God for all your wondrous acts In the name of Jesus, Amen 🙏🏽

Prayer
Our Father in Heaven, We lift up a prayer of praise to you. You have been so good to us, and you are so good. Thank you for all that you have done in our heart and life. Bring to our memory all the wonderful things that you have done in our life so that we can be filled with gladness and rejoice in your goodness. We will sing praises to you. You are good. You are the Most High God. Thank you for saving us, for guiding us, for filling us with joy as we spend time thanking you for all you have done and all that you are doing in our life. With all praise and Honor to you our Heavenly Father.

We give thanks to you oh Lord, for you are so good and your faithful love endures forever.

Prayer for the Week

You are with us at all times and in all places.

Joshua 1:9
For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Dear Lord we thank you that we never have to go through life alone. Nothing in our life is hidden from you. You are with us at all times and in all places. You are with us in times of celebration, and you walk beside us in times of difficulty and stress. You are steadfast in love and grace.

Father God, we come before you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted casting all our cares on you. You know what we face in our life. You know the hardship and burdens with which we deal with. You know the anxieties that fill our mind and the worries that flood our heart.

So, we come to you in faith, claiming the promise of your word. We claim the assurance that your presence holds us up. We know Jesus was comforted by angels in the Garden of Gethsemane, we pray for your divine comfort towards us.

Give us eyes to see your presence in those places where we may be too distracted to see you.
Give us ears to hear the whispers of your comfort when our discouragement speaks too loudly, and help us depend on your power when we are tempted to live in our own strength.

We pray this In the name of Jesus, Amen 🙏🏽

Wherever you lead us, you will provide.

Father God, Thank you for showering your compassion on us.

We know that in any circumstance we can come to you, and we will not be turned away or ignored.

Thank you for caring about us deeply and understanding our needs, help us to have faith to follow you.

Give us the courage to give our selves to you. Help us to identify what is holding us back from fully committing our lives to you. You call us to love you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Allow us to trust you fully and to follow you. We know that wherever you lead us, you will provide. We have confidence and peace in you Father God, we give you total praise in all things. We know our help is in you.

Good evening Family, I hope you are well.

Read with me Mark 5:24-35, the story of the woman with the issue of blood.

From the above book we learn the following:

-The woman spent all she had trying to get a cure
-She risked being at
the crowd as she was regarded as being ritually unclean - Leviticus 15:25-27 (Jewish culture)
-She was beyond desperate
-She risked her life moving through a packed crowd
-Faith requires risk
-She persevered and persistence
-She was fearfully yet faithfully
-She believed that only God can heal her through His Son Jesus.

However Matthew 9:21 / Mark 5:28 "Then she says if I may touch his garment I will be healed"

- Sometimes the life changing conversations start within ourselves.
-Do you give up after your prayers are not answered as you expected?
-Do you push through until something happens.

After she touched Jesus he asked "who touched me"

-Faith arrests God attention, There were many people pushing through, but Jesus realized that power went out of him.
- He then said "Daughter your faith has healed you, go in peace"
-The woman place in society was restored.

We need to be desperate for His presence and His touch.

We can do like this lady, reach out and touch him. Release your faith, believe, that it will happen.

And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

Her persistence paid off when she finally touched His garment and was healed completely.

Family, it is over. Your faith in Jesus has made you well.

Good afternoon

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”
(Psalm 34:19, NKJV)

-This verse teaches us that God is a mighty Deliverer! Today, you may feel afflicted, overwhelmed or burdened, but the Lord will delivers you from all.

-God is working to bring you out of that difficult situation. It may not be in the way you imagine, but you have to trust that God has your best interest at heart. Stand in faith today and believe that God is on your side.

-Today I want you to declare that this is the day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it!” You may not feel like rejoicing in the moment, but if you’ll look out with your eyes of faith, you’ll see your Deliverer is coming. As you stand and trust the Lord, He will empower you to overcome all of those afflictions, and you’ll see His hand of blessing in every area of your life.

BARNABAS - The apostle of encouragement.

When you hear the name Barnabas what comes to mind?

Barnabas is introduced in Acts. He appears 29 times in the book of Acts and five times in Paul’s letters.

Acts 4:36-37 (NIV)
36 Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas. (which means Son of Encouragement).
37 Sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.

Acts 11:24
He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith.

1 Thessalonians 5:11
The scripture teaches us to encourage each other and build each other's up, just as you are already doing.

While he certainly led others to Christ and shared the Gospel, he really excelled at encouraging others.

He gave Paul his start, pulled Mark out of his failures
He provide funds for the Early Church, and was a cheerleader for everyone who was busy with the Lord’s work.

Barnabas possessed exceptional qualities;

-He was an obedient Servant, who Put Others First
-A Forgiving brother and Second Chance Giver
-A Welcomer to All
-A Generous Disciple
-A Man Filled with the Spirit and Faith
-Faithful friend and supportive brother
-Doctrinally Sound
-Dependable
-Responsible and
-Discerning

My challenge to all of us today;

-Don’t let the day pass without intentionally encouraging someone. Become an apostle of encouragement.

Be a Barnabas to someone? We need to be an encourager to other Christians and the community we live in. Let's take advantage of social networks and be a Barnabas today.

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.

Patient endurance.

Hebrew 10 verse 36
For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], and so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised.

Patience;
-Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.
-To bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising.
-Trusting in the Lord’s timing and believing that He wants the best for us.
-Having the will or ability to wait on God's promises.
-Patience is the fruit of the Spirit - Galatians 5 verse 22.

Today's Scripture says we have need of patient endurance if we're going to see God's promises come to pass.

The promises of God are right on schedule and you are not falling behind. It's all a part of God's process. The key is to wait on God with a good attitude and without complaining.

A Happy (Cheerful, Joyful, Merry) heart doeth good like a medicine.

Proverbs 15:13 NET — A joyful heart makes the face cheerful, but by a painful heart the spirit is broken.

Proverbs 15:15 NET — All the days of the afflicted are bad, but one with a cheerful heart has a continual feast.

-A heart full of joy and goodness makes a cheerful face.
-A cheerful heart has a continual feast.

Lastly we are taught in the scriptures to Guard our heart for it determines the course of life. Pr 4:23.

And to Rejoice in the Lord always. Philippians 4:4.

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ🙏

Judges 6:12, NLT
The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, “Mighty hero, the LORD is with you!”

-Mighty hero, the Lord is with you.

The word teaches us of Who we are in the eyes of the Lord.

-No matter where you come from, No matter the background, No matter the age or gender or tribe or Nationality.

-God is saying to you what He said to Gideon, “You are a mighty hero.

-Get in agreement with the word of God.

-If God says i am the mighty hero, then I believe I’m a mighty hero.”

-YOU ARE MIGHTY WARRIOR and the one walking with you is GREATER THAN the negative voices of this world. Other voices will call you ordinary, weak, afraid, making in progress, but God is saying you are a mighty warrior/hero and he is with you 🙌 .

May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

From the above Scriptures God is saying, be steadfast, be on your guard, be immovable, stand firm in faith, be strong and hold on to the truth.
Always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord ur labor is not in vain.

Thank you Lord for your promises.

I declare that I and my family will flourish in every area. My finances, my health, my relationships, my work, my spiritual life are all flourishing because of You. Our children will make Godly friends, excel in school, and be in good health and prosper, even as their souls prosper.

I declare that no weapon formed against me or my family will prosper. Every tongue that rises against us will be condemned. Peace, righteousness, security, and victory is our heritage as the children's of God.

My declaration today is No weapon formed against me or my family will prosper. None of them will succeed.
Peace, righteousness, security, and victory is our heritage as the children's of God. My vindication comes from you Oh Lord.

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.

-The Early Church

Acts 2:42-47.
They were continually devoting themselves to…
The apostles’ teaching
To fellowship,
To the breaking of bread
To prayer

Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe…
Many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.

All those who had believed were together and had…
All things in common.
They began selling their property and possessions
They were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need.
Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple
Breaking bread from house to house,
They were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,
Praising God
HAVING FAVOR with all the people.

And THE LORD was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Summary:
The believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching (DISCIPLESHIP – Edify) and to the fellowship (FELLOWSHIP – Encourage), to the breaking of bread and to prayer (WORSHIP – Exalt).

All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need (SERVICE – Equip). taking care of one onother.

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved (OUTREACH – Evangelism).

As a result of their devotions to the;
The apostles’ teaching
To fellowship
To the breaking of bread
To prayer

And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

As the early Church devoted to the Apostles teachings, so are we.

"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 (ESV)
