Isaiah 62:2 The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the Lord will name.

The Gentiles are not in Zion or Jerusalem. They are a foreign nation – those not living in a relationship with God.

The Lord wants to make the heathen, His people. Therefore, the prophet cannot hold his peace.

What does ‘for peace sake’ mean?

Not to do anything to disrupt a friendship.

Rest means to idle - standing on the side doing nothing.

Am I committed or only involved?

*2 Peter 1:19* And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

*Psalm 2:1-3* 1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”
