Community Communion hard at work partnering with social development agencies in the fight against hunger

Dearly Beloved , l introduce to you Kairos Prison Ministry South. They asked me to help in the training of some volunteers for Prison Pastoral Care work. We have done so twice in a month every Saturday at the St Andrew's Uniting Presbyterian Church Benoni. They do work in Boksburg and Johannesburg correctional services.

One of the ministry's close to our heart is that of Prison ministry.

There are so many people incarcerated with nobody to turn to for help. Some of these prisoners have done nothing wrong. Others have repented. God is forgiving. God loves us all.

"I NEEDED CLOTHES AND YOU CLOTHED ME, I WAS SICK AND YOU LOOKED AFTER ME, I WAS IN PRISON AND YOU VISITED ME" MATTHEW 25:36

Rev Akih Abraham of PCCSA visited one of our beneficiaries in Berea this past week.

Proceeds of our Easter cupcake drive went to Christ Church Christian Care Center.

Thanks to Community Communion for the vision to reach out to the poor and less privileged in society.

We wish to reach out to victims of the floods in KwaZulu-Natal in our own little way with groceries, blankets, clothes and basic human necessities. We will be most grateful to people of goodwill if they can donate willingly and accompany us in this venture for humanity.
