Vir die wat nog altyd wonder en skepties is of Body Stress Release werk, kan ek met 100% oortuiging se dat dit BESLIS werk!

Ek het onlangs erg Sciatica pyn ervaar. Dit was onuithoudbaar en ek kon nie sit, staan of loop nie.

Na 'n week van meer konvensionele terapie,het ek met Benita kontak gemaak. Op daardie stadium was daar nog geen verbetering nie.

Benita het beslis die ekstra myl met my gestap. Na slegs een sessie,was daar reeds groot verbetering. Na elke sessie kon ek groot verskil voel en kon ek na paar dae weer gaan werk.

One thing that has been proven over and over again is that BSR definitely helps clients sleep better and wake with less pain. It might take a session or three to get to that point but it is almost always the case. Not only does a good night's sleep regenerate the body but your body naturally reduces the levels of cortisol and other stress hormones whilst sleeping, so a good night’s sleep also helps with emotional regulation.
In other words, people who sleep better are generally calmer and less reactive to negative situations.

BSR practitioners have worked with many women suffering from vulvodynia / vestibulodynia / vaginismus and other related conditions. The majority of them have achieved significant relief from their pain and discomfort which, in some cases, they had been experiencing for many years.
BSR practitioners have noticed in some women that there is a common link between a previous back and/or coccyx injury and the subsequent onset of vulval pain. We have found that releasing tension in the lower back, sacrum, coccyx and pelvic areas encourages the vulval and pelvic floor muscles to relax, which in turn leads to a reduction in pain.

‘A young woman, suffered from recurrent bouts of bladder infection. The problem would clear after a course of antibiotics, but soon recur along with lower-back stiffness. We have found that BSR can be very helpful in assisting people who have cancer to manage the stress build up in their bodies caused by the trauma, treatments and symptoms they are subjected to whilst fighting this disease. “My journey with BSR started when I lost all hope of ever being pain free again. I’d herniated my L3/4/5 spinal discs by lifting a rabbit hutch. Sitting, standing or lying down was painful. I had no quality of life and at one point felt quite suicidal.
A friend suggested BSR; I was quite sceptical, having tried various avenues before. My first session, I couldn’t even bend slightly forward without agonizing pain. Well what a pleasant surprise, not only was I super-relaxed, that night I slept like a baby.
Fast forward a few sessions later and I was moving pain free. I have life again. I went on to become a Group Exercise & Spinning Instructor. I tell everyone I teach, if it worked for me (who couldn’t move without electric shocks going down my legs) it will work for everyone.

Ek was af in die Visrivierskeurvallei, op in Anysberg. Ek was op en af Sedgefield toe en terug.
En elke liewe keer het my kliënte lojaal gewag. Ek is so dankbaar vir alles wat ons kon deel. Mense kom hier met oë dof van pyn. Hulle vertrou my met so baie. Scary baie. Dan loop ons 'n pad saam en op 'n dag gaan die liggies aan in daai selfde oë. So sooo mooi.

Aan elkeen wat my Letohond se geblaf verstaan en die kleinhond se attensies verduur, baie dankie. Julle hou my brood gebotter en hulle bakke vol.

Our this week: Angela (44) was diagnosed with ‘yuppie flu’ six years ago - her immune system was overwhelmed by previous bacterial infection and glandular fever, which she had as a child. She degenerated to the point of extreme tiredness, and could not even lift her arm to brush her hair, in addition, she had migraines, back pain, aching, burning limbs, and constipation.
The BSR practitioner had to work on her very lightly, as her whole body was intensely sensitive. The immediate response was even more pain, and she was so depressed she had to be encouraged to continue with the process - as her health had been going downhill for six years, naturally it would take time for that to turn around. After the sixth session, she experienced a wonderful week. All the pain and weakness was reduced to the minimum and only the constipation persisted. Over the next three months she continued to improve.
With her energy level increased, Angela was able to return to work. Three months later her constipation changed to diarrhea. Then a major emotional release occurred - she confronted the childhood trauma of a physically abusive father, and dealt with the anger and sorrow she had been suppressing. Nine months after her first BSR session Angela had only slight back pain and headaches at the time of her period.

A heart-warming story of hope, shared this week by BSR practitioner Theresa Kingma, from East London:
“I am a member of a Facebook group community group with a strong membership focusing on assisting ladies with advice on various topics, information and recommendations.
During the recent unrest a member asked advice as she was experiencing symptoms of anxiety and occasional panic attacks with erratic sleeping patterns. This elicited a flurry of comments from ladies experiencing the same symptoms.
From the 80 comments in a few minutes, I realized that there was a deep degree of anxiety and fear amongst the majority of ladies in the group and so felt compelled to mention that BSR was really helpful in managing body stress, assisting with anxiety and aiding sleeplessness. I commented as follows:
“Recently, I attended to a client displaying symptoms of extreme anxiety, including exhaustion, headaches, chest pain, jaw clenching, digestive problems, aches and pains, especially in her neck and lower back, as well as tingling in her hands. Emotionally, she felt like she was experiencing moments of impending doom and would sometimes feel melancholy or intense despair. She felt like she had lost control of her life and felt extremely overwhelmed.
Her body was displaying classic signs of stress overload which had created a dampening effect on her nervous system, resulting in her body not being able to adapt to the stress effectively.
After the first appointment she felt lighter, as if a huge weight had been lifted. She had a fantastic night’s sleep and woke up feeling less lethargic and with less pain! At her third appointment, she mentioned that she was feeling less anxious and had found her zest for life again.”
I was not ready for the overwhelming response and in a post sent the following morning, a lady pleaded with me to make an urgent appointment, as she was experiencing severe panic attacks.
When I greeted her at my door, she was holding onto my security gate and leaning against the wall.
She proceeded to tell me (in between gasps and the clenching of her chest) that she had not slept in 7 nights, had no appetite (she had not eaten any food in 6 days), she was experiencing panic attacks constantly, had severe headaches, and her chest felt like there was this heavy pressure that was squeezing her every breath out of her. She also had incredible neck tension, resulting in stitch-like pains down into her arms and a painful lower back on the right side.
After the first appointment there was some relief but just enough to breathe better.
After her second appointment, her appetite returned and she had to buy something to eat on the way home. At home she felt lethargic and fell into a deep sleep, only awakening some 8 hours later!
The next day, her body felt achy, with a sensitive scalp, a sharp pain on the right occipital area but her breathing had eased slightly more.
At her third appointment she was a different person! The colour had returned to her face, and her eyes did not have that pinched look. Her breathing had returned to normal, there were no more headaches, no lower back pain, her sleeping patterns had improved and she hadn’t had one more panic attack. She felt in control again.

So often we have no clue what our bodies are trying to tell us. A deterioration in our mental health can very often be due to a change in our physical health as this illustrates: *Johnny (a nine-year-old child) suddenly became incredibly introverted after a freak accident in which he ran into a suspended rope and je**ed his neck back really badly. After three sessions of BSR his mother reported that her ‘sunny natured’ child was back!

A 29 year old woman who broke her coccyx 3 years previously developed vulval pain. She was referred to her BSR practitioner by a specialist nurse.
At the first appointment she reported provoked vulval pain, vaginismus, IBS, indigestion, tight neck and shoulders, a stiff and painful lower back and pain in the left leg and hip.
After the third appointment her stiff neck and shoulders, indigestion and IBS had all improved. After the sixth appointment her hip was better and there was a slight improvement in her vulval pain.
After the ninth appointment all her symptoms had cleared and she is now able to enjoy regular in*******se, experiencing very little discomfort. She continues to have monthly BSR maintenance sessions.

Four categories of health problems:
1. You have aches or pains or difficulties which you regard as normal for you, or inevitable considering your age, temperament or life situation.
2.Your problems have been labelled as ‘of unknown cause’, as medical tests and X-rays have not revealed any abnormality.
3.You have been diagnosed by a doctor with a certain condition, and are undergoing treatment, but there is little or no improvement.
4.Your condition may have been mis-diagnosed; therefore, your treatment is not aimed at the correct cause.

How long will the recovery process take?

Did you know that Body Stress may affect fertility?
