enhancing the understanding of climate change issues...
This year's World Environment Day is an important moment to reflect on the pressing issue of climate change in Zambia and throughout Africa. As we mark this occasion, it is crucial to recognize the impact of climate change on our environment, communities, and wildlife.
In Zambia, like many countries in Africa, the effects of climate change are becoming increasingly severe. From rising temperatures and changing rainfall patterns to more frequent extreme weather events, the implications of climate change are visible and felt by all. This not only threatens the delicate balance of ecosystems but also endangers the livelihoods of many people who depend on agriculture, forestry, and fishing for their sustenance.
One of the key aspects of combating climate change is raising awareness and empowering individuals to take action. Education on sustainable practices, conservation efforts, and renewable energy sources can play a significant role in mitigating the impact of climate change. By promoting initiatives that focus on reforestation, waste management, water conservation, and the use of clean energy, we can work towards building a more sustainable future for Zambia and Africa as a whole.
Additionally, advocating for policies that prioritize environmental protection and sustainable development is crucial. Governments, businesses, and communities must work together to implement strategies that reduce carbon emissions, protect biodiversity, and promote resilience to the changing climate. By fostering collaboration and cooperation at all levels, we can create a unified front against the challenges posed by climate change.
Furthermore, recognizing the interconnected nature of climate change and other global issues is essential. Addressing climate change goes hand in hand with efforts to alleviate poverty, improve access to education and healthcare, and promote social justice. By adopting a holistic approach to sustainable development, we can create a world that is not only environmentally healthy but also equitable and prosperous for all.
As we commemorate World Environment Day in Zambia and Africa at large, let us commit to being stewards of the environment and champions for climate action. Together, we can make a difference by taking small steps in our daily lives to reduce our carbon footprint, protect natural resources, and advocate for policies that preserve our planet for future generations. Climate change is a global challenge that requires collective action, and by uniting our voices and efforts, we can build a more sustainable and resilient future for all. Let us seize this opportunity to recommit ourselves to protecting our environment and securing a better world for ourselves and the generations to come.

Last Friday Zambia received the climate justice Touch it was nice seeing people from all walks of life 🇿🇦🇿🇲🇲🇼🇨🇬🇧🇾
Earth Will Continue to Warm and the Effects Will Be Profound...
What should we say to the people because excuse is not reason enough and of course everyone is watching.
🤔 Climate change affects the social and environmental determinants of health – clean air, safe drinking water, sufficient food and secure shelter... Despite all the changes in these areas why don't we change in the way we do things.... 🥺
because climate is not changing in a positive way but in a negative way and it is badly affecting everyone and everything... including government.🧏
First held in 1973, World Environment Day is described as “a global platform for inspiring positive change” by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the organization that created it.
It is now the largest global environmental event, with millions of people in more than 150 countries participating. The idea is to engage “governments, businesses, civil society, schools, celebrities, cities and communities in raising awareness and celebrating environmental action”.
This year 2022 World Environment Day, with the theme Only One Earth' focussing on living sustainably in harmony with nature is being hosted by Sweden, campaigns for “collective, transformative action on a global scale to celebrate, protect and restore our planet”, encouraging everyone, everywhere, to live sustainably and take action on the climate crisis...

Happy ENVIRONMENT DAY everyone.
The catching word or sentence is the level's of awareness are low or are still low in almost every part of the planet...🤦 And some government are taking this for granted...
PUTTING PRESSURE ON GOVERNMENTS AND BUSINESSES is one way to slow down climate change and eventually stop it completely...🤔 If that is possible...on the other hand we can look at this in a different way if we:
=>Keep fossil fuels in the ground. ...
=>Invest in renewable energy. ...
=>Switch to sustainable transport. ...
=>Help us keep our homes cosy. ...
=>Improve farming and encourage vegan diets. ...
=>Restore nature to absorb more carbon. ...
=>Protect forests ...
{We will look at details soon}
