Stop & Go

Mabuting magbigay tayo ng ilang hinay-hinay-sa-paggastos-tips para naman hindi ma-wipe-out agad-agad ang perang kay tagal mong pinagpaguran.



Magandang araw, ako si Maloi Malibiran-Salumbides para sa Protips, partner mo sa inspirado at productive na trabaho at negosyo.



Sa Vietnam ay may convenience store outlet na ang pangalan ay Shop and Go, para itong Seven-Eleven, MiniStop o Family Mart dito sa Pilipinas. Totoo ngang napaka-convenient ng ganitong mga tindahan para sa atin. Madali mong mabibili ang kailangan mo. Pero mas madalas kaysa hindi, kapag nagshopping ang marami, hindi lang naman yung kailangan nila ang nabibili. Ang kailangan mo lang halimbawa ay isang bottled water, pag-alis mo sa tindahan, may bitbit ka na ring mga chitchiria at magazine. Kung wala kang pagpipigil sa sarili, you shop and your money goes away quickly. Kaya sa halip na shop and go, ang mungkahi ko sa iyo ngayon ay -- STOP and GO!



Mayroon akong apat na tips sa iyo para maiwasan natin ang paggastos ng higit sa kinita natin. Tandaan ang salitang STOP.



Schedule your visit to the malls. Pansinin mong lahat ng sale ay itinataon ng mga mall sa tuwing ikaw ay tatanggap ng iyong sweldo. Kahit pa sabihin nating sale ito at ibinabagsak nila ang presyo ng ilan sa kanilang mga paninda, the intention is really for you to spend and not to save. If business establishments are intent in getting your money, aba, dapat lang na maging mas intentional ka na ipunin at palaguin ang kita mo. Iwasan mong gawing tambayan ang mall, dahil mas malamang sa hindi, mapapagastos ka kapag pumunta ka dito. Ayaw mong maglaho ang iyong sweldo ng ganun-ganun na lang, then stop going to the mall kung wala ka namang kailangan talagang bilhin o gawin doon.





Think before you spend. Bago mo pakawalan ang perang iyong pinaghirapang kitain, tanungin mo muna ang sarili mo ng sumusunod: a) Kailangan ko ba talaga nito?, b) May pambayad ba ako kung gagamitin ko ang credit card para bilhin ito?, c) Mabibili ko pa ito sa mas murang halaga kung magca-canvass muna ako sa iba? Don’t buy on impulse. Be a good steward of the financial resources entrusted to you by God. Mag-isip muna bago gumasta.



Overcome your appetite to buy by avoiding ads and sites which entice you to spend. Kapag kumakain ka sa buffet o eat-all-you-can restaurants, humihinto ka ba sa pagkain kapag busog ka na? O bubusugin mo ng sobra-sobra ang iyong sarili kahit masama na ang pakiramdam mo sa sobrang kabusugan? Many find it difficult to stop, kahit na busog na sila, because they are surrounded with tempting and mouth-watering dishes. Di na kaya ng tiyan pero gusto pa rin ng mata ang mga pagkaing nakikita. Sa paggastos ay ganyan din, di na kaya ng pitaka, pero dahil marami pang panindang nakikita ang mata, kahit wala na sa budget, gasta pa rin ng gasta. To overcome your appetite for needless shopping, stop looking at advertisements. Stop visiting online-shopping sites. Stop and go.



Pray instead of pay. Naniniwala akong ang pamamahala natin ng ating financial resources ay may kaugnayan sa ating spiritual life. Mahigit kumulang sa 800 verses ang mababasa mo sa Bible na tungkol sa pananalapi. How you manage your resources will tell if your priorities in life are in order. Sa tuwing makatatanggap ka ng pinansiyal na biyaya, huminto at matutong magpasalamat sa Diyos. Sa tuwing ikaw ay mamimili, manalangin ka muna at hingin mo sa Diyos ang karunungan at pagpipigil sa sarili upang maging matalino ka sa pagbili.



Kung paanong pinagsumikapan mong kitain ang iyong susuwelduhin, dapat ay pagsumikapan mo rin itong ipunin at palaguin. Stop needless shopping.
