DMU wins funding to support businesses to innovate

De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) has been awarded funding for four new Innovate UK-funded projects designed to help businesses innovate quickly.

The Accelerated Knowledge Transfer (AKT) projects, three of which are in Health and Life Sciences and one in Computing, Engineering and Media, are worth £141,000 and will run for four months. DMU Dubai is excited to announce the publication of the research paper titled “Visualizing the Landscape and Evolution of Solar Energy-Integrated Desalination Systems via Scientometric Analysis” by Yvhan Berana (BSc Mechanical Engineering student at DMU Dubai) in the ISI Indexed journal, Energies (Impact Factor 3.2). The paper derived from Yvhan's individual year’s project, delves into solar energy integrated desalination systems highlighting key countries, institutions, researchers, and research themes from recent years. This achievement points out DMU Dubai's commitment to cutting-edge research in sustainable technologies and its dedication to fostering innovative solutions for global challenges.
