⭐️ Today we visited the Epilepsy Centre of SA and presented them with the grand total of $7000 raised from our Quiz Night!

💛 This contribution will be used to provide families with Epilepsy seizure alert mats ($1040 each), anti-suffocation pillows ($160 each) and provide education to families, schools, businesses & organisations about Epilepsy.

🌱 It was an absolute pleasure meeting and working with everyone from the Epilepsy Centre. What an incredible feeling to know that our amazing BGC community has made such a positive impact on the ability for these people to support children and adults living with Epilespy.

What a night! 🤩

🇬🇧 From the grand entry of Great Britain lead by the bagpipes to the little French bed bugs and everything inbetween.

🌱 Chris Asimos is a dedicated member of the Bowden Gym Collective, being part of their fitness community for 6 years.

💪 A true fitness enthusiast, Chris is passionate about staying active and healthy. He is especially known for his enthusiasm in group classes, in particular R50 sessions. Many of you may recognize Chris from these classes, as the guy trying to do burpee’s with a moon boot and crutches!

🎙️ Beyond his fitness pursuits, Chris is a dynamic and versatile performer with a distinguished international career in stage, television, and film. He has also made a name for himself as a sought-after emcee and presenter, hosting various events but most notably; host and emcee at SkyCity Adelaide.

Thank you Chris! We are looking forward to having you join us on Saturday! 👏

It’s been an amazing ride over the past 8 years, every year jade and I reflect on the past.

We always feel very blessed to have an amazing crop of current and past team members.

We always feel very challenged by what has been thrown at us. (You have heard this before, if not pop in and ask hehe)

We always feel very grateful to have an amazing community to be among with our family.

But anyone who has been around us knows we always look forward and we have some awesome upcoming plans for the business and facilities that we can’t wait to share with you.

It will cement our thriving community and business for the coming years and decades. 😋

Meet our amazing member and artist, Jen:

Hi, I’m Jen 👋

I joined BGC (North Adelaide Fitness Centre) when our first son started school… 24 years ago, YIKES! I would head to the gym after morning drop off with a group of school mums. I am the only one left from those days.

In all these years, it has remained a welcoming and inclusive environment to keep fit and healthy. I absolutely love this gym.

In my working life I trained to be a graphic designer and worked in this field until we started a family. I now manage the front office of a primary school, and art is my side hussle!

There’s nothing I love more than holidaying with my travel art kit, painting and sketching as Glenn fishes. I enjoy taking on commissioned work and have produced many portraits (humans and pets), as well as landscapes.
