Postgraduate College of the University of Adelaide It is non-denominational and draws students from a broad range of countries, ethnicities and creeds.
Kathleen Lumley College is the only dedicated postgraduate institution in South Australia, and welcomes applications from students attending any recognised tertiary institution.
A message from the Chair of Kathleen Lumley College Council, Wendy Wills
The Kathleen Lumley College Council has regretfully decided to suspend the operations of the College with effect from January 2022.
As you would be aware, the pandemic has severely impacted the tertiary education sector and significantly reduced the number of overseas students requiring residential accommodation.
This appears to be unlikely to change in the foreseeable future.
The Council is now exploring options that would fulfil the wishes of our Founder, Kathleen Lumley. These will look to encompass the key attributes of College life: encouraging and supporting postgraduate students in the pursuit of their studies or research; fostering cultural and inter-disciplinary exchange; enabling postgraduate students to enjoy supportive social and recreational activities; and celebrating the successes postgraduate of students past and present.
The College will continue to be home for a number of the current residents during 2022 but will not be accepting any new tenants. For all enquiries about student accommodation in Adelaide, please contact your university’s student accommodation service.

Queen’s College is delighted to announce that Dr Lesa Scholl has been appointed as the new Dean of the College.
Lesa is currently Head of Kathleen Lumley College, the postgraduate college of the University of Adelaide. Prior to this Lesa was Dean of Academic Studies, Dean and Vice-Principal of Emmanuel College, the University of Queensland.
She has a BA, M.Phil and Grad Cert in Education from the University of Queensland and a PhD from Birbeck College, University of London. Wherever Lesa has served she has been widely respected for her pastoral care of students, her mentoring, career advice and visionary leadership.
We look forward to welcoming Lesa in early October.

Another proud (but sad) day for KLC as Andrew graduates from his Law degree! Andrew has been a valuable part of KLC's community for many years and will be missed. We wish him well as he goes onto his future career!
