Great effort today from UCL Australia's ‘Dragondoliers’ in the grand-final of the 2017 Life Be in It Dragon Boat Race. It was a very close match with UCL coming in second place. However, we did manage to score the quickest time throughout the qualifiers!

As part of the ‘Framing the National Debate Series’, The University of South Australia and UCL Australia will present Radiation Health Risks from Nuclear Accidents - Facts and Fantasy.
Professor Geraldine "Gerry" Thomas emphasises the prevalence of misconceptions related to radiological risk as well as the range of factors that can influence both dose and exposure to radiation.
Professor Thomas is a senior academic at Imperial College London. She has written numerous editorial pieces and appeared in the SBS-TV documentary series Uranium - Twisting the Dragon's Tail.
Called before the Nuclear Fuel Cycle Royal Commission in South Australia she answered the Commission's questions regarding the effects and threats of radiation. Gerry is a member of University College London (UCL) Australia's Nuclear Working Group.
