Our 2024 Pub Crawl is tonight!!! 🕷️🕷️🕷️

We’re so excited to see you all and kick of a cracker event tonight. We’re excited to create some amazing memories and boogie on the dancefloor of our favourite venues, but we’d like to remember the importance of being safe whilst drinking! We’d like to encourage all of our members to remember to be responsible and respectful, and speak up if you or others are unsafe in any way.

This event takes place off campus, so if you are ever in a situation where you feel unsafe, please remember that there is a police station located on the corner of Hindley St and Leigh street or on Grenfell St, and our event medical is located on Victoria St next to the Woolshed (a map can be found on the second slide!). We encourage you to speak up and look out for your mates tonight and make sure that they are safe and enjoy the night.

The AUES has zero tolerance for bad behaviour, including sexual harrassment and sexual assault. We want everyone to be able to enjoy their night and we remind everyone to be conscious of their own behaviour, as well as that of others. Remember you must seek consent for any type of physical activity, which should be inforrmed and given freely.

If you witness or experience something that is not right (be it a mate or stranger), then call it out and make sure you report it to venue security. If you are in immediate danger, then call emergency services on 000 or visit a police station.

If you have experienced sexual assault, you may choose to find support through Yarrow Place; a free, confidential and inclusive service that provides crisis and counselling support to people that have been sexually assaulted. Yarrow Place are contactable at any time on 1800 817 421.
