🏏 After a season off with injury, Callum is back bigger and stronger. After a season of scoring last year, we cannot wait to have him back playing this season.

The club is pleased to announce that Kyal Rasmussen is returning to the kennel in season 2024/25.

🏡 After spending the past two seasons at Sedgwick in the 1stXI, Kyal has decided the time is right to come back home. Kyal will be a great inclusion to help bolster our bowling stocks and keep the club moving in the right direction as we look to push for a finals spot.

🤗The club is thrilled to announce that 2 time Premiership coach Sarah Mannes has signed on again for next season.

Sarah has done an exceptional job in not only achieving success in the Women’s 1stXI but developing a strong squad of players with varying skillsets. The club couldn’t be in a better position in regard to our women’s program and that has been due to the hard work and dedication from Sarah and the team around her.

🤗The club would like to announce that Tim Wood has been appointed as Senior Men’s coach for the 2024/25 season. We are thrilled that Tim has made his way back to the kennel after a few years away.

Tim brings experience and quality with him and we look forward to continuing the great work that Liam and his panel has done over the past 3 seasons. A quality person is back at the kennel!

🤝The club would like to thank outgoing Senior Men's coach Liam Smith who has decided that season 2023/24 would be his last as coach.

🤩Liam took on the coaching role 3 seasons ago and has not only grown the club, but also grown as a person. In his time as coach, he has managed to bring the junior & senior clubs even closer, introduced a 4thXI side, develop a young playing group so that we can challenge for premierships in years to come, help guide the T20 side back to the finals, 2ndXI Premiership, plus so much more. You have done an exceptional job mate and the club cannot thank you enough.

😍Don't stress though, Liam will still be around. He will continue to assist in the development of the club as a senior leader and player. Thanks Coach!

💙VALE' DENIS PINCH💛

The club is saddened to hear the loss of past player Denis Pinch at the age of 86. Denis was a very handy player for the club in his day, especially with the ball. Denis is 1 of only 18 players to have take a Hat Trick at the club and overall took 155 wickets in his career.

🙏We wish to pass on our condolences to the Pinch family & friends during this tough time.

We have seen many people come and go. But one person who has been a part of the fabric at Golden Square for many years is Jake Higgins. As you and Til embark on a new journey across the ditch, we want to wish you both all the best.

😍Jake you are not only a Golden Square favourite, but a Bendigo & surrounds one. We know that the Bridgewater Football Netball Club are also shattered to be losing such an important person. Bendigo have beaten Ballarat in the 150 year celebration of women’s cricket at the QEO.

Our ladies did our club proud as did the entire team. Our very own Sarah Mannes was judged best on ground… she is making a habit of this in big games. Yeeew!
