Things become a lot clearer and for better reason when you understand the “WHY”….

Shiloh and I attended high school together and although life beyond school can tend to distance us, it’s things like participating in this years Unsung Heroes event that reunite us.

I’m so grateful that Shiloh reached out, got back in touch and gave me a bit of an insight into what she has been through since she left us due to her health in our senior school years.

Organizations like The Carers Foundation Australia are here for people like Shiloh and her family and it’s so important that as a society we get in and help where we can.

THIS is where our focus, tax money and education should be focused.
THIS is where politicians should be focusing their energy. But like anything - society needs to get behind it so the politicians know where to find their votes.

I am truly humbled by the amazing artwork Shiloh so generously gifted to me.

Her resilience, persistence and bubbly personality are inspiring! Never the victim, instead “how can I help” mentality 🙌

Our kitchen has been hard at work creating wonderful meals for the parents and children of Graceville State School in raising funds for a wonderful support teacher, Chappy. To the Graceville State School community - support this wonderful initiative by buying this wholesome dinner tonight (and get extra to pop in your freezer as backup dinners in the future!)

Truly grateful for this opportunity to perform with some of the greatest musicians in Australia….

So grateful to the Filthy Animals Band for allowing me this once in a lifetime opportunity to not only tick a bucket list item for myself, but raise funds and much needed awareness for the Unsung Heroes event that is hosted by The Carers Foundation Australia.

I’m super proud to have been nominated and although this has never been about me, it’s been about doing some good for the people that need it most, i have had the some amazing experiences personally as well.

I am still just shy of my $20,000 commitment to the charity so I encourage anyone to come along and enjoy the music legends that are The Filthy Animals Band whilst doing good for a fantastic charity that so badly needs our support!!

Lastly, (and I could rabbit on for ages thanks to ADHD) I would love to thank the beautiful young lady who nominated me for this - you know who you are…

I have had the privilege of knowing his beautiful young lady since she could set up a tea party table and dress me up as a mermaids, unicorns and fairies and now she is influencing and inspiring me!! 🙌

I will continue to raise awareness event after my performance as I have learnt that this charity does not have an ending - it is ongoing. That is one of the reasons why it does not get the funding it deserves… it has been put into the “too hard basket”.

Early morning air freight stock arrivals can only mean one thing….

They are coming…… 🙌

We are days away from our first shipment of fresh Australian black winter truffles.

There have been early season truffles coming through and they don’t always have the strong aroma and perfume being that they are early season as compared to mid season. No different to produce like stonefruit etc - early season doesn’t always pack the most “punch”.

Truffles need that consistent COLD to ripen and bring out all the qualities of these foodie gems.

We like to wait until truffles are at their absolute best and we expect our first WA truffles any day now.

The season is looking strong and quality should be awesome.

But, you never know until you start digging!

Our famous chocolate dipped strawberries are back!!!! We wait for the best in season strawberries to come in fresh from the markets and we use Belgium chocolate to dip our strawberries.
