Great day for members yesterday with 11 Top Pick and 6 Value/Threats winning.

Been an eventful holiday period since Boxing Day with 6 winners, and 2 near miss 2nds.

Not much speed in this race, so I expect Grebeni to push forward near the leaders. Form has been good after flying home and beating Glory Daze by 0.3L and winning 2 of its last 3 starts. I am willing to forgive its run two starts ago as it was run on a slow track, sat near the tail of the field and was forced to go around them and ran a far from disappointing 6th at Group 3 level. Another Group 3 Placegetter who I expect to be in the finish.

This Mare is firing at the moment, last two starts has run 2nd in tougher races, in which it raced wide around the home straight in both, expect it to sit just behind the leaders and have too much class. Group 3 Placegetter who is fit and ready to win.

3/3 since Boxing Day! Willing to forgive last start as Addriel has run a 0.1L 2nd to Golden Decade on a soft track, in which Golden Decade has gone to Sydney and won since. Abounding beat it the start before by 1.5L and is labelled Magic Millions 3yo Guineas favourite and I believe this form stacks up against this lot.
