p.s I can't WAIT to meet you! π₯°
FINALLY! It's been a hot minute, but I am excited to finally get back into the swing of helping mums self-care! π
I have been off grid for the last year doing some serious self-caring and self-preserving of my own. π§ββοΈ
It has been one hell of a journey, and it's far from over. But after allowing myself the time I needed to love myself, I am ready to start giving again. π₯°
Sometimes, you need to pull your own hand brake and wait until you feel ready to drive again. πͺ
Stay tuned for new workshops and events for mums in the Shire! π«Ά
Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible moms out there! π₯°
Today, let's celebrate motherhood's beautiful, messy journeyβfilled with love, strength, and the endless juggling joy of nurturing ourselves and our loved ones.
Take this moment to honour the incredible power within you, knowing that your dedication and care ripple out to create a world of harmony.
Wishing you all a day filled with love, relaxation, and the deepest gratitude for all you are. π«Ά
Hi mums, I wanted to share something personal with you. Life has thrown some big twists my way and I've realised the importance of pressing pause to take care of myself amidst it all.
It hasn't been easy stepping back, but to continue nurturing others, I needed first to nurture myself.
This hiatus continues to be a journey of self-love, self-discovery, and finding balance amidst the whirlwind of change.
Rest assured, I will be back soon with renewed energy and insights to share.
In the meantime I am spending lots of time walking in nature, writing in my journal, rolling around on my yoga mat and practicing body scan and breath awareness meditations to help keep me in the present moment.
Thank you for your understanding and support. ππ«Ά

So, by radiating positivity, you are creating a home where smiles and good vibes flourish!" πβ¨
Anytime, anywhere! π₯°
Yoga is freedom.
My Maisey Train.
Can I get a "hell ya?"
Having a mantra about self-love is like having a secret map to a hidden stash of mum-energy! π
This is your reminder to take care of yourself and fill up your superhero power tank! π₯
It's going to be another big week, so repeat this mantra to yourself daily to help you follow through with some self-love. π₯°
You're welcome. π«Ά
Self-care is your secret superpower potion! π¦ΈββοΈ
You ARE a superhero, but instead of fighting villains, you're tackling laundry mountains and toddler tantrums. π
Self-care is your secret superpower potion β it's like donning a cape and saying, 'I'm taking my sanity back!' πββοΈ
So, while you might not be able to leap tall buildings, you can conquer the chaos with some daily self-care habits in place! ππ²π§π¨π€ΈββοΈπΆββοΈπβπ§ββοΈ
Kiss s**t storms goodbye!!! π©
May I remind you that you possess the strength to navigate difficult situations, even amid total chaos. And we all know that chaos ebbs and flows like unpredictable weather. πͺπ§π©β‘οΈ
By repeating the phrase, "I am capable, strong, and finding balance in every storm," you reaffirm your ability to handle challenges and stresses that come your way. πͺ
This mantra promotes a positive mindset and encourages you to focus on your resilience rather than succumbing to the stress of all the s**t storms we cop in a day! π
It's yours for the week! Say it like you mean it! π
Stop, drop and bridge pose! π
Also known as Setu Bandhasana, this pose is a great way to energize your body and relieve spine tension while engaging the muscles of the core, buttocks, and thighs.
Here's an explanation of how to do Bridge Pose:
Lie on your back with knees bent and feet hip-width apart.
Place your arms by your sides, palms facing down.
Press through your feet and lift your hips towards the ceiling.
Roll your shoulders under and clasp your hands, interlocking fingers. (If you fancy)
Keep your thighs and feet parallel.
Lengthen your neck and keep your gaze towards your chest.
Breathe deeply and hold for a few breaths.
Gently release your hands, lower your hips, and relax.
Remember to engage your core and avoid over-arching your lower back.
If you are like me and suffer from lower back problems, you can benefit from this posture by using a yoga block for support. I do this EVERY morning!
Place the block horizontally under your sacrum while following the regular Bridge Pose steps, supporting your back.
The block allows for a more gentle and controlled backbend and creates a gentle stretch. π«Ά
So bridge pose away mums! π₯°

"I will survive" is the superhero mantra of every mum out there!
Picture this: You've conquered countless diaper changes, epic tantrums, and a whirlwind of responsibilities while wearing that invisible cape of unconditional love.
This quote is your rallying cry, victory dance, and the reminder that you're rocking this mom gig no matter the chaos.
So, repeat these three powerful words before the messes pile up, and the world spins faster than you can catch your breath. I WILL SURVIVE! You've got this supermum!

Patience is a practice, and embracing it creates a more joyful and fulfilling motherhood journey. πΌπ§ββοΈπ
Incorporating this mantra into your daily routine can be valuable for maintaining emotional well-being, fostering a positive environment, and nurturing your relationship with your children. π₯°
Repeat this mantra daily as a gentle reminder to prioritize patience for yourself and your children. π«Ά
Understanding and embracing the concept of "self" in self-love, self-respect, and self-worth is crucial.
When you prioritize self-love, you acknowledge that taking care of yourself is not selfish but essential for your overall well-being and ability to care for others.
By cultivating self-respect, you set boundaries and honour your needs, preventing burnout and maintaining a healthy balance between your role as a mum and your identity. (yes, they are two different things.)
And when you recognize your self-worth, you can appreciate your unique qualities and contributions as an individual beyond your role as a caregiver.
Embracing self-love, self-respect, and self-worth empowers us mums to model healthy behaviours for our children, teaching them the importance of valuing themselves and others.
It allows us to approach motherhood with a stronger sense of self and resilience, enabling us to face challenges and nurture our families from a place of authenticity and emotional fulfilment.
Ultimately, understanding the significance of "self" in these qualities helps us mums establish a loving and harmonious relationship with ourselves, positively impacting our well-being and our ability to be present and supportive caregivers. πΈπ
Monday Mantra Motivation For Mums
Making mistakes is a natural part of parenting; you do your best in a beautiful and messy journey.
By letting go of guilt and embracing the messiness, you can find peace, joy, and fulfilment as a mum and create a nurturing environment where love and understanding prevail. ππ§ββοΈπ
We must learn to release guilt and self-criticism that often arise when we perceive ourselves as not living up to unrealistic expectations of being a perfect mum.
We must embrace parenthood's chaotic, imperfect, and unpredictable aspects with love and compassion.
The mantra, "I let go of mum guilt and embrace the beautiful mess of parenthood", conveys a powerful message of self-forgiveness and acceptance.
It's yours for the week! Repeat it to yourself. NOW! ππ₯°
Get your Cobra on! Also known as Bhujangasana, this posture offers various benefits, including:
π Strengthening the Back: Cobra Pose targets the back muscles, including the spine and lower back, helping to improve their strength and flexibility.
π Opening the Chest: This pose opens up the chest and shoulders, benefiting those who spend long hours sitting or hunched over.
π Improving Posture: By stretching and strengthening the muscles in good posture, Cobra Pose can help improve overall alignment.
π Stimulating Abdominal Organs: The gentle compression of the abdomen in this pose can aid digestion and help massage the internal organs.
How to do Cobra Pose:
π Lie face down on the floor.
π Place your palms flat on the mat, directly under your shoulders.
π Press the tops of your feet and thighs into the floor.
π Inhale and slowly lift your head, chest, and upper abdomen off the floor using your back muscles.
π Keep your shoulders relaxed and away from your ears.
π Hold the pose briefly, gazing forward or slightly upward.
π Exhale as you lower yourself back down to the floor.
π Remember not to force the backbend and only go as far as feels comfortable for your body.
Regular practice of Cobra Pose can contribute to a stronger, more flexible back and improved posture and overall well-being. ππ§ββοΈ

Open your hips and stretch your inner thighs with Butterfly Pose, also known as Bound Angle Pose or Baddha Konasana.
Here's a quick explanation on how to do it:
Sit on the floor with a tall spine, legs extended straight in front of you.
Bend your knees and bring the soles of your feet together, allowing your knees to drop out to the sides.
Hold your feet with your hands, interlocking the fingers if possible, creating a butterfly shape with your legs.
Sit up tall, gently pressing your knees toward the floor, but avoid forcing them down.
Relax your shoulders and breathe deeply, allowing your hips to open gradually.
Hold the pose for a few breaths or longer, depending on your comfort level.
To release, gently release your feet and extend your legs back to the starting position.
Enjoy the nourishing benefits of Butterfly Pose and feel the opening in your hips and inner thighs! π¦π§ββοΈ
Monday Mantra Motivation for Mums! π«Ά
A mantra is a short, powerful phrase or word that is repeated silently or aloud to focus the mind and cultivate positive energy.
For us mums, a mantra can be a guiding light, serving as a reminder of our inner strength and resilience during challenging times.
By regularly repeating a mantra, you can experience reduced stress, improved focus, and increased self-confidence.
Mantras help us stay grounded, and present in our parenting journey, fostering a sense of calm and balance amidst the chaos of daily life.
Ultimately, embracing a mantra empowers us mums to tap into our inner wisdom and find solace in the power of our thoughts and intentions.
I embrace today with love and patience! It's your for the week! Repeat it to yourself whenever you can, especially during challenging times. π₯°
Say it to yourself with 5 deep breaths before getting out of bed in the morning, write it in your journal and repeat it to yourself before you go to sleep at night! π
Improve focus, stability, and strength with Vrikshasana - Tree Pose. Here's a quick explanation on how to do this standing balance pose:
π΄ Stand tall with your feet together and arms at your sides.
π΄ Shift your weight onto one leg, and then bend the opposite knee, bringing the foot to rest on the inner thigh of the standing leg. If it's difficult to balance, you can place the foot on the calf or ankle instead.
π΄ Find a focal point to gaze at, maintaining steady breath and focus.
π΄ Keep your hips square and engage your core for stability.
π΄ As you feel comfortable, raise your arms overhead, either keeping them apart or joining the palms together.
π΄ Hold the pose for several breaths, feeling rooted through the standing foot and lengthening through the spine.
π΄ I like to have a little play and close my eyes while trying to maintain my balance. I usually fall out of the posture, but that's part of the fun!
π΄ To release, gently lower the raised foot back to the ground and return to the starting position.
Remember to repeat the pose on the other side to maintain balance and enjoy the benefits of Tree Pose! π΄π§ββοΈ
Life is more stressful when:
1) I don't make time for myself!
2) I am operating without some kind of schedule or to -do list. Flying by the seat of my pants doesn't always work in mumhood!
3) I forget to ask for help! I am the boss of my house- I can start delegating!
4) Not packing day care, dance, swimming, ANYTHING bags or snacks the night before just leads to extra chaos in the mornings! Even just having their clothes picked out and ready to go is a game changer! π
Be mindful of Implementing these 4 things into your day/night and see the difference they make! π₯³
You are worth your time and energy!
You play a vital role in the well-being of your family!

Being a mom is challenging and overwhelming. Venting is a healthy way for us mums to release our emotions and reduce stress. π£
It can also help us connect with other mums who may be going through similar experiences. πββοΈ
When we vent, we can process our thoughts and feelings, improving our mental and emotional health. βΊοΈ
All mums need to care for themselves and prioritize their emotional well-being; venting is one way. π£
But let's face it, not all of our partners or friends understand our frustrations, and so to avoid being emotionally dismissed, we keep it to ourselves. π
Or, we don't want to burden our hard-working husbands or friends with our "mum problems" because we feel that they are tedious and irrelevant in "real life." π
And- on some level, we might even feel like failures for not being able to cope with all the demands of mum-hood and this in itself can come with feelings of embarrassment. π
In some of my workshops, I hold space for a venting circle. This allows us mums to be heard in a supportive environment. It also allows us to unite as a tribe and offer suggestions or shoulders to cry on. π«Ά
I do this by allowing mums to share 2 things that are frustrating them, followed by one thing they are delighted and grateful for. π€π€π₯°
Recognizing something positive and happy after something negative and frustrating helps shift your focus, improve your mood and balance out the negative. ππ
It helps you maintain a positive outlook and perspective, which improves your overall well-being. π€©
So please, feel free to share your frustrations, followed by one thing that you are delighted and grateful for below. π£
This is also a fab journalling exercise and can be done daily! π
Whatβs that? FREE stuff? π°π
