Donating an AED to St Leonard's Primary School back in May 2013.

Photos from The Daniel Reddie Foundation's post 16/05/2014

So today on behalf of Luke and the Daniel Reddie Foundation I accepted a Certification Of Appreciation, a lovely bunch of flowers and a heartfelt thankyou from Tate Street Primary School for the Defibrillator we donated with the funds raised from Luke's Big Hair Chop. The school made the lovely gesture at the assembly today and also used the opportunity to educate the children on the unit. The fact that early use of defibrillation increases rates of survival, I hope is very reassuring for the primary school and community. Thankyou all who supported us!!

16/04/2014

Ok lovely people, so the final amount raised from Luke's big chop was a whopping $3420!!!!! πŸ™‰βœ‚οΈπŸ‘πŸŽ‰

$2600 of that will be going to Tate Street Primary in East Geelong in the form of an Automatic External Defibrillator!! And $820 will be going to Altona Soccer Club to help with their purchase of one! They've been trying to raise the funds for one so hopefully this will help get them there!

A few more Thankyous to add:
Monica Roosje
Moi & Neville Hobbs
Steve & Christine Forrest
For your donations!

Again, a massive thankyou for all who donated, you are wonderful people, you all know who you are and Daniel would be so proud of what is being done in his honor! A special Thankyou to Luke for making it happen and for taking the big plunge for such a good cause; we are not only proud of what you've achieved, we are also pleasantly surprised by ur new look!!!!!For those waiting on receipts, they'll will be available in the next week so if you require one please contact me on [email protected]

As I was driving home from apollo bay today , I thought I would pop on and see dan the man and after a big long think about it , it's time for the dreadlocks to come off (13 years to long ) and I have set a date which will be the 29th of March which is dans 29th birthday .
And of course I wont to do it for charity , so from now till then if every1 can dig deep and give us what you can that would be awesome , I am hoping to get around $2000 so we could buy another de fib for a school around the Geelong area ,
I will post bank details in the next couple of days or if you see sofie Lara or myself we will take your donation in person So spread the word and about time a cut these locks off
In regards
Luke 'raffiki' reddie

If you haven't already voted, this is the weekend to do so!!!!

A big thankyou to those that are still contributing donations to the Daniel Reddie Foundation!!! We are well on our way to supplying another defibrillator to a local primary school in need. St Leonard's Primary has a young heartkid attending and would benefit greatly from a AED unit in place. A massive thankyou to Tracey Swain who continues to gives donations from her homemade beanies sales, a further $170 donated just recently! Thanks Trace! And as well, Michaela Belleville who had her family and friends donate on her behalf to us for her 40th birthday! A generous $525 was contributed! Thankyou to those who did!!!! Many thanks!! Now just under $900, we are half way to buying the unit!!
