Bathroom details from Begola House. The guest bathroom has the concealed euro laundry. This is a popular design solution for clients who no longer have young families. The bi-fold cupboard doors match the material pallet of the large wall hung vanity unit which is classic in styling while introducing colour and texture into the bathroom. The simple splash-back is the vanity bench-top material returned up the wall. The master ensuite has a freestanding bath.

Bathroom details from Orana House. The classic white subway tile laid in a herringbone pattern with contrasting black grout elevates the bathroom. The choice to tile from floor to ceiling adding a layer of lux to the bathroom. The tiles are complimented by white and black fittings and fixtures, with the "jasper" window frames softening the look. This is a bathroom that will not date.

The inbuilt fireplace and widow seats of Hood House. This light filled first floor space has great views over Half Moon Bay, as such creating seating nooks with views was important for the clients. The TV is mounted above the horizontal fireplace and is rebated into the wall to help with the heat management and to create a seamless look along the wall when occupying the window seats.

The north facing cantilevered canopy of the Lee House. The deep canopy wraps around the rear corner of house, playing up the horizontal lines of the colorbond wall cladding. The corner window sits below the canopy and also plays into the horizontal cladding lines. The window is positioned at eye height when sitting in the living room. The detailing of this house adds interest without blowing the budget.

The front entry of the Stage 1 House. The entry uses a combination of Shadowclad Ultra Texture and Shadowclad Ultra Groove plywood cladding, painted in Dulux Domino to create a subtle yet striking banding that ties elements together around the exterior of the house. Window shrouds, eyelashes etc all sit on the same horizontal band. The eyelash of the entry sits higher to all allow it to remain in-situ during the construction of Stage2.

The kids wing at the Outlook House. Located in the south east section of the house, the view of this is the wing is what greets guests as they arrive at the home. The wing is defined by the precast concrete cladding and coreten eyelash, that wraps from the south facing passage window, around the corner to north side of the third bedroom. The patina of the coreten warms up the exterior of the home.

The master ensuite of The Golf Course House, this generous size light filled ensuite has a hob bath tiled in Moroccan handmade tiles from . The tiles feature again in the shower. The "mid-century modern" client brief can be seen in the both the colour pallet and joinery style. The laminate joinery use a simple combination of black paired with a plywood look finish. The drawers open with finger pulls. The colour scheme of the joinery set off the amazing blue of the tiles, and echo the colour pallet of the kitchen. The ensuite floor is a burnished concrete finish, which gives the appearance of marble.

The Gone With The Wind House, the clients brief was for a grand staircase that was reminiscent of the staircase from the 1939 film designed by Lyle Wheeler. We also took inspiration from local properties Barwon Park Mansion, in Winchelsea (managed by ) built in 1871 and designed by Scottish-born architects Alexander Davidson and George Henderson. As well as Werribee Park Mansion (managed by ) built in 1877 and designed by James Henry Fox. Both of these properties are open to the public, so why not check them out and get inspired.

The new box bay window seat, we added to the original section of the Fisherman's Cottage. This north facing box bay window seat is in the traditional living room, now sitting room for the master bedroom wing. It offers a cosy breakout space to curl up and read a book. We used casement style windows to match the existing house, with the internal plaster work and architraves also traditionally detailed.

The internal staircase from the garage to the entry at Orana House. This light filled stairway is a feature from the street. The staircase is a solid timber type with full height glass on both sides, providing a screened view to the street and an uninterrupted view of the backyard. On the backyard side there is a matching timber staircase leading from the garden to the alfresco. This is one of the best covered connections we have done between a house and the garage.

The junction of the single storey garage and two storey home of Hood House. We used contrasting colour pallet of black and white on the external facade to make a striking composition. We ran the horizontal canopy above the garage door into the angled two storey home, merging the two together. The addition of the decorative colorbond ribs running vertically and horizontally across the white render tie the parts together.

The entry screen of the Lee House. The skillion roof of the house cantilevers over the garage, landing on the feature timber post and matching vertical timber screen. This composition of this house is very simple it is two roof forms (a skillion and a parapet) juxtaposed. It is the layering of the vertical timber and and the rendered horizontal that make it special.

The Gone With The Wind House, the client's love of the Victorian and Edwardian era's formed the brief for this grand home. The home has wrap around verandahs on both levels, in the traditional concave shape. Arched double hung timber windows; timber verandah posts and custom tessellated tiles on the ground floor verandah. All this traditional detailing sit beautifully in front of the classic red brick veneer. This project truly was a labor of love, and the clients were wonderful to collaborate with.

The view from the kitchen of the Curlewis House. This stunning view north across Corio Bay is breath taking. This house has one of the largest kitchens we have ever done and all of it has amazing views. The kitchen is located on the first floor, and is located on the eastern edge of the open plan living/dining area. There is a well appointed lift behind the kitchen to get the groceries and gusts to this level if required.

The mixed external materials pallet of the Fisherman's Cottage, the recycled bricks were used in the new linkage between old and new. The blue tones through the red bricks compliment the light blue of the original cottage so nicely. At the front of the cottage is a new single car carport, we designed this to be in keeping with the style of the cottage so it blends in rather than stands out.

The feature fireplace at Orana House.. The suspended wood fireplace is a real show-stopper. Located in the corner of the living area the fireplace adds interest and warmth without taking up loads of floor space. We went with the bathroom floor tile for the hearth as the timber floorboards can not be located directly under the fire.

The large balcony Hood House. This site is located two intersections and has three street frontages. The views to the north and east over Half Moon Bay are amazing, the clients wanted a large outdoor living area that took complete advantage. So we delivered a large warp around balcony with glass balustrade and moved the structure to the outside to give uninterrupted floor space and the greatest flexibility.

The main entry of Stage 1 House, it leads straight off the large wrap around deck. The entry area has amazing views to the south and the tee-tree horizon line of the coast. The eyelash canopy above the entry offers some protection from the weather. The glass sidelight and transom offers a lot of light into the interior of the home. The best part this is where stage 2 will connect. Love a great design solution.
