To lay in the foundations of decay ~

I have become very interested in floriography, the language of flowers, in their symbolic meanings, and secret messages. The blooms of hemlock, passion flower, and poppy around Gerard are my interpretation of the lyrics of Foundations of Decay. I've been working on this piece for a few months, and have a few ideas for other My Chemical Romance songs I'd like to draw this way.

In the Major Arcana of the traditional tarot deck Death isn't a card to be feared, but rather a symbol of transformation and change. This portrait of the artist depicts him as Death delivering change within his own life. As a transgender man he sought his own transformation to live as his true, authentic self, altering his body and his life to reflect the man within. Transforming oneself is a precious and valuable experience; like gold.

Can't believe I never posted this! I've been taking a little break from drawing, as I started a new job and uni work took priority. But I've got inspiration and creativity bubbling up in me, so hopefully I can post more than once in a blue moon

This drawing is a birthday gift for a friend. I'm quite proud of it, as I don't think I've drawn a dragon in over 10 years

I haven't had much time to draw, so that's why this birthday gift/fanart of my friends character Mr Darcy took me a month to get done

I love drawing gold, and giving myself a challenge to do a proper detailed background was worth it
