Send me a message if you're after one (or 2) and Iโll include them in the final run.

). I've steadily working through them, and I'm almost finished on this first run.
A few spots have opened up though so if you're keen on getting a little portrait done up such as these two, hit me up!

We have such a wealth of artistic talent here in Tasmania. Itโs a pretty gosh darn inspiring place.
Myself and a bunch of other amazing artists have teamed up with Discover to take the fight to the robots. Introducing TASMANAi, real art, made by real Tasmanians.
Head over to the website, submit a rad and creative prompt, and you might just receive an artwork based on it by yours truly or one of the other artists in the mail!

Very proud day on Tuesday. A most excellent booklet that I was fortunate enough to be brought on as the illustrator for, "Ducks of Tasmania", was finally launched.
The booklet was excellently designed by Poco People, created in hand by the Pacific Black Duck Conservation Group, Derwent Estuary Program and BirdLife Tasmania along with the help of several local councils.
The book aims to help Tasmanians identify their native (and some not so nativeโฆ ) ducks, providing a handy resource of info about the best places to find, and the best ways to care for our native ducks.
You can pick it up from most greater Hobart councils and various other outlets as they make their way out into the wild.
As the mighty ducks would say, 'Quack! Quack! Quack!'.
*Many of our native ducks don't actually quack ๐คฏ
Itโs open commission time! Specifically, doggos! Iโve got a project coming up and Iโm looking to get as much practice in as possible in the meantime, soโฆ
If youโre keen on getting a little portrait done up such as this of your wondrous woofer, hit me up!

Iโve been so tardy with my posts of late! I guess thereโs been a lot of work (and holidaying) on the go this year ๐
Hereโs one I did of our fine little city for the Mayor of Hobart last year that I neglected to share. Delegates from our Japanese sister city were recently presented with some prints of it during their visit too ๐๐
A few of the big projects have been delayed & postponed at the moment, so the schedule is looking free and clear!
If youโve got a personal (or business related) commission youโd be keen for me to work up for you, feel free to drop me a line at - [email protected] - and Iโll see what I can do for you! ๐จโบ๏ธโ๏ธ

Super chuffed to pick up a win at The Diemen Awards on the weekend for the illustration series I did for Eden Whisky and also a nomination for my work on the Cygnet Folk Festival ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ
Along with picking up a win for the Illustration category, the work I did for Eden Whisky was also nominated for the Grand Diemen in the design category! Wew! Sadly, I wasnโt there to enjoy the eve myself, but Iโm positive all had a great night.
Congratulations to all other winners and finalists on eve!

A fun, recent commission for to cover their fresh new store in Hobart (along with some fancy tote bags) with some little Hobartian themed doodlings. Thanks again for hitting me up for the gig and for taking some of these snaps! ๐๐
The 2023 Cave Animal of the Year Australia, drawn by yours truly. A finicky process realising this critter, but one Iโm very happy to be part of. Big ups to Kelly of Poco People for getting it all together, making it work across the various mediums, merchandise and gussying it up. If youโre keen on any of the various cave animal merch, hit up Cathie via [email protected]
Another year, another cave animal. For 2023, we bring you the entire genus Arachnocampa โ aka glow-worms! Not a worm at all, and very hard to draw, it turns out. For more about this mysterious not-worm, check out https://www.caveanimaloftheyear.org.au/. Poster, bookmarks, mugs and stickers available from Cathie at [email protected].

Huge congratulations to Du Cane Brewing and the opening of their new brewery and dining hall in Launceston! Itโs such a great space and Iโm more than thrilled that I was invited to play a role in things. Iโve been busy this past month creating a map mural and a number of panels that feature nearby day-walks and trails of northern lutruwita/Tasmania for the new space. Fantastic to see it all come together for their official opening last night! ๐ป๐ฅณ๐
After a few months of toiling away for many, many hours, the illustration work I did for Eden Whisky is making itโs way into the wild. Keep an eye out for this heckinโ tasty spirit, hailing from a very magical and hidden away spot, out the back of Collinsvale, Tas.
Recently finished for the fine folks (hehe) of the Cygnet Folk Festival. Looking forward to its return next year! Super fun working on this one with them ๐ช๐ป๐ช๐ท
Havenโt been finding enough time for some drawing at my desk lately. Managed to squeeze in a little eucalypt before bed though this eve at least.
Some excess stock on hand I'm looking to part with if anyone is keen on them ๐ Send me a message if so.
A4 Tasmanian animals - $40
A3 kunanyi/Mount Wellington - $75
Need to find time to get back into watercolours againโฆ
Today's the day!
My collection of endemic, native & extinct (sorry thylacineโฆ ) fauna of lutruwita/Tasmania is live and ready for ordering, direct from Hobart's own fine art printers, Full Gamut - fullgamut.com.au/fauna-of-lutruwita-tasmania
With every sale of the prints and posters, a portion of the profits goes to local environmental organisations that care for and protect our native wildlife and their habitats.
For those perhaps wanting to do some framing, there are A3 & A2 archival prints on offer. If you're wanting to stick one up on a wall ASAP, A2 & A1 posters are on hand.
They will be available at my usual stockists shortly too.
In the near future, there'll also be a number of individual prints for anyone looking to single out their favourite critter.
