💖Colourful dream 💖

Acrylic on canvas

50.5cm x 40.5cm

Pallette knife freedom 😂 I really enjoyed this one.
It really just emerged.

Dreams are free. There sun goes up and goes down but the colours change everyday. There are no rules when you give yourself the freedom to dream.
Cherry blossom brings the vitality and vibrancy, symbolic of springtime. It is a reminder that life is fleeting. Capture the beauty in a colourful dream.

💕Slice of Serenity💕 Cape Hauy

Acrylic gel on canvas
91.4cm x 61.0 cm

An incredible place that lives fondly in my memory of one of my first hikes in Tasmania with my kids and a dear friend of mine.

All the steps to see the magic of this cape extending into the wonderous ocean.
My impression of Cape Hauy as a sunset from my imagination as I remember we were rushing back at this time and I was so elated at the achievement and what I saw with my own eyes and with my kids, (the glow of it, I love )
I only wish we could have stayed and sat watching the sun go down.

My version of a gum tree done with Palette knives and gloss gel acrylic on canvas

50.5cm x 40.5cm

Looking at this I feel as though I could be a koala sitting on the branch looking out at the mountains and the magical creek that runs below.
Together as one in our beautiful world. How I see looking over my fence.

⚡️Electric poppies⚡️
Poppies are a favourite. My grandad used to have them framing his front lawn and I remember the stormy New Zealand days and used to think that these delicate looking flowers were vulnerable and could be destroyed yet they were charged, electric and sturdy withstanding the elements.

Majestic Boss
Acylic on canvas
This guy was inspired by the roaming peacocks at Glen derwent in New Norfolk, Tasmania, while I was having high tea.
Such a boss!
🦚 Up on the roof or high in the tree,
Dusk or dawn I sit ever so majestically.
You sip your tea or coffee, while I protect my property. 🦚

Acrylic on canvas, Abstract Finish
Love our sunny days! Driving in the country with vast fields before my eyes!
Such a beautiful bold and bright flower, it’s hard not to feel happy when you see them! (I have a Lovely bunch in my house).

So….you know I love colour and I love filling in the white spaces….. huge thanks to The Journey Studio - Art by Meg Mader- amazing Meg, for facilitating a wonderful event using a completely different medium. Acrylic Ink water colour! Painting our symbolic Tasmanian Waratah with my friends at a sensational event held by Puddleduck Vineyard sip and paint.
Flaws are beautiful and mistakes can lead to a perfect reflection of oneself through art. Love my “mistake” that gave me a vibrant yellow background! Love each individual interpretation through their own strokes of colour!
Fun to experience a new medium! 😊

✨Feather of Hope ✨
This was fun with a carefully cut out paper towel and a chain with Acrylic paint. I love how it makes you feel like you can catch it!
Glowing as a beacon in white and a gold and silver. Rich with purity, delicacy and valuable elements of our earth. Affirmation that you are on the right path!

Inspired by my dear friend and Mentor, the feather being her affirmation from the universe!

🦚Midnight Prince 🦚
I am Rare to see... Leucism is what I have, meaning "least concern". There are only 100,000 of us in the world. Unlike most peacocks, who are colour wonders by day, my rare beauty and elegance glimmers in the darkness lit up by the moon. I am not ashamed to be different.

Inspired by magnolias in bloom and peacocks at Glen Derwent, and reading about them so I could highlight the unique and rare white kind in a feminine way.

Antique Roses....
Loving the palette knife.
Sipping on a coffee looking at the bold and beautiful petals in harmonious colour exploding out of the antique vase. The perfume of the roses, rich and consuming from the freshly cut stems of an established garden.

Inspired by my sister's antique vase and her love of roses and of course our coffee time together!

Nothing like a “last minute Lisa”. 😂 I started this a few days ago thinking of the beautiful tulips at Table Cape being spring and all…. How I love visiting this place!! 🌷 💐
Then saw an “Art trails exhibition” add on Facebook and read the details! I’ve stayed up late painting the last few nights and I finished this today and am going to enter it into the exhibition!!
I love colour! 🎨 My first big painting! I hope you like it! So cheery! Like a field of dreams!

Welcome to Lisa Maree ART.

Life is Colourful!

White, blank canvas, I absolutely love to colour! 🎨
We are beings full of colour from our past and present, right into our dreams and aspirations in the future.
We are memories, we are emotions and that’s what I like to encapsulate on these white blank canvases with the freedom and passion of paint with various tools. 🖌️ 🎨
They assist me into pouring colour I see in my mind , feel in my heart or see in The beauty of our world. 💕
I have lived in different places around the world and have had a full life of happiness and pain.
I choose to see beauty and paint that. 💖
Everything we see or experience carries energy and shapes into our life which is full of colour. Sometimes just a spec in our memories, but it’s still there. I hope to make memories alive with some paintings.

Also there is beauty in flaws.
Small wonders like wild flowers charge with energy, strength, and vibrancy.
The ocean and sky reflect the changing of mood. And endless possibilities.
The delicate feathers of birds are grace and wonder - again energy, strength, endurance, protection.
Sometimes it’s the simple, quiet moments in life that determine the colour choice and sometimes it’s the hunt for that special something that inspires me to paint.

I love the mystery of some creations. Watching them unfold intuitively. ✨
I love springtime! I love the richness of our earth and cultures we have in it!
I hope you see and feel this through my art.

Lisa xx
